B-Luke Posted March 7 Posted March 7 At least they would have had enough power to supply the venues I guess?
WEEKND Posted March 7 Posted March 7 She snatched a top 10 hit and a Grammy if I was ha I would find a rich bball man and live a happy life. 1 1
Kim Petrat Posted March 7 Posted March 7 was the tour not selling well? i thought people loved her online and her song seemed to be doing good! i would’ve gone… i hope she feels better

It probably wasn't selling. She has no album out, one hit, and a scattered fanbase. A Grammy doesn't hold the same weight it used to, and the black community has lacked favor for her after that "coloured" debacle (you can really see it in her comments sections on YT and Twitter)... I would've waited for a second hit and an album release if I were her team.
Vermillion Posted March 7 Posted March 7 If her NA dates had sold out, would she have gone through despite the injury? I want to give her the benefit of the doubt but I’m such a cynic at this point. I wish her a speedy recovery, but in the meantime, I would’ve spent the time she put into prepping for this tour trying to get at least a few more crossover hits first after capitalizing on “Water” including more promo. 1
Jay L Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) Feel so bad for her her tour had been selling well so this is legit yall. And she actually performs so no she can't just "stand there and sing" instead. Edited March 7 by Jay L

Do you really think that will hold her back from a career in the States unless she ensures any interviewer doesn’t address the topic? It seems to have overtaken any discussion within black Twitter but I don’t know if that’s carried over to R&B radio - has it? Unless she wants to build solely on streaming. If she had the hits first it’d be a different matter.
Selegend Posted March 7 Posted March 7 the jokes??? chances like this won't easily knock 2 times on her door, MAYBE this was her only chance. hopefully not, but can be. it must be something serious, wish her a fast recovery!
Invincibles Posted March 7 Posted March 7 If I remember correctly, the tour was selling very well AND they even added extra dates in some cities, so I do think she’s telling the truth about this injury. 1
Diet Pepsi Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) I mean I’m not surprised you can’t sell tour tickets off of one hit song alone. She should open for a big artist Edited March 7 by Pink Whitney
