georgechxng Posted September 12 Posted September 12 she did great per usual. i hope she releases a video for the song next.
Elementary Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Just don't understand why she refuses to shoot a music video? Is the label holding it back to push HTG? This literally has a chance to go #1 now that the H100 top 10 is so weak. 1
Rigalo Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Hmmm at first I didn't care, but now I kinda think it will be a mistake to not put a visual to a song that will most likely be one of her signature hits (regardless of how long/successful her career is) plus even if was late as hell I think a video following the VMAs would have been perfect but oh well 5

Rino Posted September 16 Posted September 16 don't want to be one of those people, but pop girls used to hustle to make their hits happen. not filming an MV seems like such a wasted opportunity to build up the momentum she has 3 1
Bubble Tea Posted September 16 Posted September 16 She needs to low key stop this endless touring and sort out some new music and some visuals
Danny1021 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 This video could be amazing cause of the theme of the song! 1

How come she signed a contract in which she gets to openly refuse to shoot a music video? I would expect that treatment from other established artists who demand creative freedom but Chappell is just too new to be allowed to make that kind of call without contractual consequences.
Frozen99 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 the joan of arc performance is basically as good as a real music could be, at least we got that.

LostInStereo100 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 now that GLB reached number one on Pop. I can see it start falling soon already. HTG will start to explode in the next few weeks I have a hunch 1

Also see about getting a televised performance of it. 1
Dula Peep Posted September 17 Posted September 17 We could now be #1 next week if she dropped a video…. I hope her label forces her

This is sending me because she is on record so many times saying that she would only a sign a contract that left her with all creative decision making "too new" is doing so much heavy lifting here

Like how the hell do you want to have all the creative control but don't wanna put in the work? 1
fememeist Posted September 25 Posted September 25 I'm hoping this reaches at least #2 so I can say it's the Modern Day Bad Romance
