genetic fail Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) I despised the director's debut (We're All Going to the World's Fair) but this one looks intriguing and not boring at all Edited June 14 by genetic fail 1
Uncatena Posted March 3 Posted March 3 barely looks like horror but im intrigued nonetheless yeule and Caroline Polachek on the original soundtrack
ALA Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I just saw this... I was so lost at the very ending lolol So I read up on what the director intended with this movie, which I didn't pick up nnn I guess I took things too literal. Some of the imagery was terrifying. I like films that stick with me and I definitely think this will.
popmusicisdead Posted June 15 Posted June 15 (edited) this was so Phoebe Bridgers coded i audibly cackled when she showed up. anyway, have you ever fallen asleep after having a huge meal and then woke up with terrible heartburn? that's what this whole movie felt like. i liked the usage of the Caroline song ig Edited June 15 by popmusicisdead
genetic fail Posted June 15 Author Posted June 15 Yeeeah the concept was cool but it needed more story and less vibes. The 2-year time jump from the kid actor to Justice was laughable
Digitalism Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I liked it a lot The ending was underwhelming but necessary I guess The only thing I wish is that they had more budget because they explained a lot that could have been shown
Pendulum Posted June 20 Posted June 20 yeah now, this and We're all going to the world's parade have good story lines but I just can't grasp the cinematography of Schoenbrun. Just boring to watch. It's giving film studies graduation project but maybe that's the charm of it.
