It isn't something that should be readily dismissed. Tesla has paid hacking teams millions for finding hacks into their car electronics. They started the program when they introduced Autopilot software. And hackers are still finding ways into the car systems, though it is getting harder. So it is a possibility. Not dismissing the possibility, but she had a higher chance of getting struck by lightning than dying from a hacked Tesla. Communion Posted March 2 Share Posted March 2 (edited) Not Russiagate rotting people's brains so bad that they think the takeaway here is that Elon would commit a political hit (on the sister-in-law of a lead Republican???) and not the fact that one of Elon's self-driving cars that are meant to be high-end technology just drove itself into a lake and killed someone yet there's little regulatory action over these cars and people will claim they're still safe.
