No we save money so we can travel and see beautiful sights of the world. Its corporations and Billionaires who r ruining the environment

Well yes but I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

I would like to see more people going on holiday within their own countries though. Just looking at how many sad, forgotten seaside towns we have in the UK that used to be such a hive of activity is kinda depressing.

Yes.

In the natural state there is any reason if you are born in India to go to new York to visit another country for "pleasure". And viceversa.

It's something humans like to do even if their natural state and their evolution didn't give their bodies the "instruments" to do it. Only way we can make it Is with objects esternal to us, we created and are very pollutants.

Almost anything you do is bad for the environment

But what we do is not even 5% of the problem

Corporations are the ones destroying the system

Is time to stop putting the finger at individuals when then real problem are those companies

Yes, tourist tend to use 4x amount of electricity and water than locals. Coming from a Barbadian perspective.

Taking trains is fine for instance. Plan and boats are pretty bad. So perhaps its better to take a train to visit places. If its too far, then just don't go for the environment.

Yes, if the people in charge are stupid and greed.

No, if they are competent and know what they are doing. When management is done correctly, the money from tourism helps to keep the place in order and developed.

Yes, if countries are requiring tourist visas. I mean the amount of paper works being used. It could save a lot of trees.
