Can an insider give us even a slice of tea.

I know that random twitter ‘insider’ said September 20th and the album was still being worked on, and someone mentioned a possible Quavo colab on the album, but that both seems like hearsay

I believe him. I remember when he said they were working on bombastic songs and then we got A&W, Fishtail, Peppers and TT x VB.

I find it interesting this is being marketed as "her country album" when she already has Chemtrails, which has a few songs with heavy country influences

his is coming from the man who calls every single thing he releases “his favorite thing he’s worked on ever!!1” however yes Lana = yes brilliance, acclaim, etc. so tell us something we don’t know Jack :gaycat5:

Solar Power didn't get that treatment :gaycat2:

I honestly think she just hooked up with Quavo for one night and that was it.

someone said it either on reddit or in one of the St. Vincent threads earlier but either way it was that Jack doesn’t make these albums he produces bad, they’re almost always good despite some of his questionable choices on them. that’s a paraphrase but i 100% concur. he’s not a bad producer, he just sometimes makes or eggs on some funky choices. NFR! is still a masterpiece, Folklore is still an artistic feat in and of itself, Masseduction is still a pop bible on the level of Bowie’s finest projects (though the sequencing of tracks 6-8 is clunky), Melodrama is still also a pop bible, and DYKTTaTUOB is still fantastic in its own right! it’s just that sometimes he can be a bit repetitive, but the talent in the studios in all the contexts is always evident. so I’m not opposed to some of our girlies still working with him, though I do hope they that occasionally branch out to other producers in addition/instead to/of him

sorry for the rant lol

Yeah but for every one of those albums you mentioned there is a Daddy’s Home, MIDnights, Solar Power, and Clairo’s album with him (can’t even remember the title, that’s how much of a snooze it was)

It sends me that ATRL is constantly dragging him yet at the same time stanning so much of his work and calling albums where he is the lead producer a masterpiece :deadbanana2:
