Dante Silva Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I suspect it’s going to be her best album since “Chemtrails”. Aside from that I view him as a good salesman (but no longer a good producer), talking up an upcoming product he is set to heavily financially benefit out of the success of. 1
alexrex Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I don't doubt from the 2024 real deserving AOTY songstress. 2 1
stjosephprey4us Posted February 28 Posted February 28 This is coming from the man who calls every single thing he releases “his favorite thing he’s worked on ever!!1” however yes Lana = yes brilliance, acclaim, etc. so tell us something we don’t know Jack

Pop Posted February 28 Posted February 28 We know. Chemtrails was her most country inspired record and it's her best to date. 1

JoeAg Posted February 28 Posted February 28 someone said it either on reddit or in one of the St. Vincent threads earlier but either way it was that Jack doesn’t make these albums he produces bad, they’re almost always good despite some of his questionable choices on them. that’s a paraphrase but i 100% concur. he’s not a bad producer, he just sometimes makes or eggs on some funky choices. NFR! is still a masterpiece, Folklore is still an artistic feat in and of itself, Masseduction is still a pop bible on the level of Bowie’s finest projects (though the sequencing of tracks 6-8 is clunky), Melodrama is still also a pop bible, and DYKTTaTUOB is still fantastic in its own right! it’s just that sometimes he can be a bit repetitive, but the talent in the studios in all the contexts is always evident. so I’m not opposed to some of our girlies still working with him, though I do hope they that occasionally branch out to other producers in addition/instead to/of him sorry for the rant lol 1
