ep 8 has to have been the best yet. stunningly beautiful writing, visuals, poetry, emotion...:chick3:

ugh im so glad toranaga actually has a plan. for a minute i really though he'd given in to defeat.

the tea ceremony was fantastic. one of my favourite scenes of the entire show so far :jonnycat:

Well so far there is one east Asian actress who won at the main ceremony and it just happened this year

Well see if she can overcome some white lead Oscar winners

Yeah this ep was great too. Are we sure this is going to be a limited serie? I would want a second season because the show's good(miles better than the got spinover or house of the rings) even though because of the last episode it sucks.

 

 

anyway I don't know if I liked the ending that way, but probably because I had some sort of emptiness. I mean, if she had died while everything was being prepared it would have been heavier, a bit like ned's death but in this way I didn't expect it, it was quick and I probably still have to metabolize it.

I haven't watched the final episode yet, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first 9 episodes. No shocker that this seems to be the frontrunner for awards season so far.
