barbiegrande Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Only up to Ep 3. Amazing so far! Gives me that GoT season 1 vibe. Also, im a white mans whor3 for Aaron Taylor Hardy
flower moon Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Spoiler i could not believe thats how he went out in such an honourless way good ep tho. im kinda glad they arent focusing too much on the anjin all the time.
flower moon Posted April 9 Posted April 9 ep 8 has to have been the best yet. stunningly beautiful writing, visuals, poetry, emotion... Spoiler ugh im so glad toranaga actually has a plan. for a minute i really though he'd given in to defeat. the tea ceremony was fantastic. one of my favourite scenes of the entire show so far 1

fridayteenage Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Well so far there is one east Asian actress who won at the main ceremony and it just happened this year Well see if she can overcome some white lead Oscar winners
loliza Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Yeah this ep was great too. Are we sure this is going to be a limited serie? I would want a second season because the show's good(miles better than the got spinover or house of the rings) even though because of the last episode it sucks. anyway I don't know if I liked the ending that way, but probably because I had some sort of emptiness. I mean, if she had died while everything was being prepared it would have been heavier, a bit like ned's death but in this way I didn't expect it, it was quick and I probably still have to metabolize it. I hate the traitor

I hate the traitor Well it's based on a book that's loosely based on real life
flower moon Posted April 23 Posted April 23 such a lump in my throat now its over i dont want to let these characters go. the scenes of fuji and anjin were my fave. very bittersweet. "let your hands be the last to hold her" what a series... 1
UnanimousBB16 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I haven't watched the final episode yet, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first 9 episodes. No shocker that this seems to be the frontrunner for awards season so far.
StartOver Posted April 28 Posted April 28 (edited) Now that the serie's over time to binge-watch! Edited April 28 by StartOver
WEEKND Posted April 28 Posted April 28 We want a snatched femme fatale with murderous intent I don't think this is that
Johnny Jacobs Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Yeah i forced myself to watch at least 4 episodes. Good show. Didn't click for me sadly
Bad_vocal_technique Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Omfg why no one told me this was so good, the British hunk and the overall aesthetics
