Stankonia Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The more I listen to the album the more I love it! It's shockingly consistent for a J.Lo album and I'm loving this 00's throwback sound for her. I'm_ glad.mp3 queen didn't let the forced online hate stop her from releasing this passion project 9
Funnyfatty Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The way its such a brilliant record and i believe its only this great because SHE DIDNT CARE 4

You guys should watch it… it’s really good. MTE 2
Flanders Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Aww JLo, you’re a legend!! This seems like such a passion project for her, I’m sad it isn’t doing better. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves as an actress before this decade is over. 1

You probably couldn’t even if you tried. What does that make YOU? ?.. I don’t wanna be a singer/actor lol I’d also be untalented if I was in that field 3
Elusive Chanteuse Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Good for her. The comment about her on tiktok and twitter are very toxic, even I feel bad I don't like her like that. lol 1 1
Mons†erMuscle™ Posted February 29 Posted February 29 I hope she starts acting more. Let's get those Oscar nominations at least. I know she'll do another album and if done right it'll be more successful. The biggest problem with TIMN is that silly delay in between announcing and releasing. 1

Fleahive Posted February 29 Posted February 29 The way y’all fell for her reverse psychology. Shes playing the underdog role so people can start defending her and supporting her music. Straight out of P!nk and Taylor’s playbook. 1 1
Fleahive Posted February 29 Posted February 29 (edited) I’ll never forgive her for laughing at me and forcing Ben to roll up his window when I put the iPad in his face asking for a tip at the restaurant drive thru Edited February 29 by Fleahive 3 1

DanceAgain Posted February 29 Posted February 29 Not many Artists would Openly admit to that, gotta respect her for been so honest. People forgot she's 54, hasn't put a Studio album out in 10 years, this is her First Proper studio album in the Streaming era, she's also not promoted her music outside the US for 11 years, that's a ridiculous amount of time between releases! I think it's awesome she's gone all out and funded this, it's a music experience, Album, Musical Film, and a Tour & 2 Documentaries. The album isn't a hit but non of us was expecting it to be, it managed to be number #1 in the US, top8 & top3 in the UK and Germany etc in sales & paid downloads, she has massive streaming power in 2011/12/13 and then she kinda left the music scene for a while and when streaming happened she didn't really adapt, and then as the years went by it just became harder for her. At the end of the Day her albums been received positively, (best reviews she's had in years, Her Musical Film became a Streaming hit and has done pretty amazing and her Tour seems to be doing well she's even added more dates, I've read multiple publications that are saying she's looking at her highest grossing tour yet and it could gross £225 million.. so when you factor it all in she's done pretty decent, I mean if she sells out her tour (we know she sells tickets with no issues) that's a bigger deal then selling a few hundred thousand albums. Also when she was really crying saying she always feels she's not got enough, it's incredibly sad that people make her feel like that, and I know that all the toxic hate that people love to spread about her gets to her for sure, it must get her down, but she puts on a front and seems to act like she doesn't care when behind closed doors it really gets to her! Not just because I'm a Fan but I really don't see why people always come for her, like many have already mentioned she works harder than anyone in the industry she really ******* gives her all, and she's not always appreciated either, the way she's balanced a massively successful music & movie career for over 25 years is a huge feat in its self. People can downplay her talents, or success as much as they please but it doesn't take away her massive impact, the ones who think shes just some chic who has a few movies and couple of hits are delusional, she was absolutely massive in her Peak in music, she broke multiple record's with her music, She's the First artist in music history to have a number #1 remix album, and the only artist to have a number #1 movie and #1 album in the same week, they are not cute little milestones there Historic achievements In the industry! And she has the Highest first week digital sales in America for a Spanish language album. She was the first Artist to have a number #1 on Airplay, Hot100 & Hot200 in the same week, and she did it with remixes making her the only one ever to achieve this. It's just insane how people try and downplay her success in music, and judging by some users clearly wasn't born, because in 2001/2/3 JLo was absolutely massive and globally, number #1 singles, albums, Movies, her Perfume launch breaking Sales records, everyone wearing her clothing line.. she literally dominated all aspects of the entertainment and Fashion & fragrance industry! she had a Peak nearly 3/4 of the girls today will never ever touch! She deserves her flowers for her work ethic and continuing to do what she loves, despite people talking constant **** about her for absolutely no reason! Ask anyone who says why the don't like her, You can guarantee it's because of some bullshit fictional story about her been Nasty, a thief, stealing "Vocals" etc The whole stealing songs and vocals is such a ******* Cringe narrative, it's now just straight up embarrassing when people still try and push it. 5

She’ll likely only produce this. - Griselda (tbd, drama): pre-production for 12 years now, but she mentioned during TIMN press that she may film that this year. 1

Any song with that stupid ticking noise throughout is considered trap. Call it trap R&B or trap pop... it's crap trap. "Many of the tracks feel like a patchwork quilt of hooks, none able to emerge from the downtempo cage of the trap-inspired production that, if removed, would allow their pop potential to spring forth. " "This Is Me…Now reprises both an album title and a song title. “Dear Ben, Pt II” fades into the record’s background: another trap-inspired confession of love that doesn’t reveal anything unique about the subject or the singer." https://www.popmatters.com/jennifer-lopez-this-is-me-now-review Edited February 29 by Mons†erMuscle™
