Onthe6 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 An album, a movie, a live album/Apple Music Live Concert, a documentary, a tour… Loving this Musical Experience. 3
Specter Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Aww this made me feel bad (not bad enough to buy or stream, but still) I will say it's nice to see someone be self aware and go all out (financially) to fund a passion project, as a farewell. I mean, just the fact that she has the financial capacity to do so — stemming in a part from her music — shows that she's been blessed in the first place. So good on her! 1
Shelter Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I just wish the music was something I liked. She clearly loves what she does. 1
Stankonia Posted February 28 Posted February 28 This makes me respect her even more The album does feel special to her
BrandNewBrandon Posted February 28 Posted February 28 From J.Lo inspring all the J.Hud's and K.Stew's out there, from her Versace dress influencing Google Images to get created to her #1 singles and a huge comeback that was easily one of the biggest songs of 2011 and had the title of the most watched video of all time (and that was when charts didn't incorporate streaming into their chart points), she's done so many huge things that she can do whatever the **** she wants now and no matter how much it flops still be a legend. 5
BellKat Posted February 28 Posted February 28 She has the money, it's not like she need to do this. I think she just wanted to re-live the experience of making an full album project but now she can add her own touch. This tells me she always enjoyed and cherished the musical side of her career, good for her tbh 1
Ger.vaz Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Ok I love her sincerity and that she really is hard working Let me stream her last album. 1
1DES Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Should have just released it once it was finished recording than holding it back.
DuffStan Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I love how driven she is, and how much she cares about all the different sides of her career. 1

Rainbow Posted February 28 Posted February 28 18 hours ago, imabadkid said: all jokes aside, JLo is HARD WORKING... despite all the jokes people make online about her. Her work ethic is smth that you don't see often in pop music... but it's also tough nowadays. As a pop star you're not just competing with musicians anymore to stay relevant, your competing with influencers, etc. we're in the "attention" economy so everyone is fighting to stay relevant and get hits/likes/etc. also, Gen Z is just a whole diff generation, they've grown up with reality TV and the internet in their lives so to keep their attention is a whole diff game, people like Drake, Beyonce, Taylor, etc. have mastered it... people like Justin Timberlake, etc. are struggling to stay relevant in this current climate and that's no shade. It's just not 2007 anymore. Either way I'm gonna check out her album! True. As untalented as I think she is she is a very hard worker and I respect her hustle 1
naval23 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 She is mother for this "And they're right. I DON'T need to do anything" How to say you're rich without saying you're rich 1

If you watch her “Greatest Love Story Never Told” documentary on Prime Video (Out NOW and 100% FRESH 🍅 on Rotten Tomatoes) she explains why she didn’t. Can recommend the doc!!

You probably couldn’t even if you tried. What does that make YOU?
deux Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The this is me…now movie made me really like this album. So many good songs. 1
Raichu Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) I appreciate her self awareness and drive to keep going beyond that looming feeling. This actually made me respect her a lot - this sort of work ethic in music isn't seen as often anymore. Edited February 28 by Raichu 1
shakeyourbombom Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Start to have some sympathy for her. All of her recent music projects performed so bad. It's sad to see at this point but music is not her thing. 1
QueenBLadyG Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Kind've like when a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, did it really even make a sound? It knows it fell and made a lot of noise, that's what matters. It's for her.

You guys should watch it… it’s really good. 1
