gimmelaugh Posted February 27 Posted February 27 this just makes me respect her more if anything, she did it for herself which makes the whole project sincere and that's what music should be like 7

I understand that, but she (and these other people) are talking like she's making some huge unfathomable sacrifice Reminds me of this Tidal video with Madonna and other artists talking like they just cured cancer by... launching a streaming service. I guess rich people will be rich people... 2

Watch them say yes and come with some rehashed delusional story of J.Lo taking tips away in a Vegas casino because a friend of the niece of their cousin said so OT: asking ≠ clamoring, and you put it in quotes as if she said that directly. It means more like a loud demand @Talento That being said, this isn’t the drag you think it is. It’s actually admirable she’s putting out an album because she wants too, even if she knows it may fail commercially. She as an artist was behind the project. That’s what matters. And the way she rolled out this era was how we would wish some of our other faves even spent 25% of the effort. Within 2 weeks we got an album, film, Apple live concert, live album, documentary and a tour. 2 1

Her self esteem seems really low Funny you say this about her but not about ego maniacs that spend all day thinking about being successful and making money 1

Her self esteem seems really low Nah she just knows she’s done it all. She had her moment on the A-list Pop scene, she has high grossing movies etc. This is just all for fun now. She gets to play. It’s much better than acts who try to do an album rollout like they’re in their prime and abandon it week 2. 2
Dula Peep Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I feel bad for her now no one deserves to bomb this hard 1

Her self esteem seems really low More like she is aware of reality. Most legacy artists are delusional or holding on to their past peak. Ms Lopez recognises that her time in the spotlight as a musical artist has passed, and so she's done this project for herself first and foremost. You have to respect someone grounded enough to see reality. 5 1
