Eternal sisters Vernie and Easther Bennett have unveiled their new bandmate - after they were ditched by former members Louise Redknapp and Kéllé Bryan

Nineties pop stares Vernie and Easther are are planning to push on with the band's reunion with the help of new singer Christel Lakhdar.

In September last year, Louise, 49, and Kelle, 48, pulled out of an Eternal reunion tour because Vernie and Easther had refused to play any of the LBGTQ+ gigs they had scheduled over claims the community is being 'hijacked' by the trans movement.

But Vernie, 52, and Easther, 51, are planning to take to the stage without the departed members.

They have welcomed Christel and reformed as a trio, with the performer saying it is a 'dream come true' to join the group.

I suppose I say good luck to Christel. She's going to need it, working with these two nightmares.

They'll be lucky to get booked - firstly, Prides are the main source of income for girl groups that aren't big anymore and secondly - who is going to want Eternal without the two most famous members but a random girl in their place?

It's tragic.

It’s wild being a pop girl group and not playing to queer fans, like that’s 90% of fanbase.

They support the LGB, but not the T. Even a lot of queer people don't support the T folks unfortunately.
