Dialogue isn't for television either apparently. Just look at the new live action Avatar the Last Airbender. So cringe.

I haven't seen Dune to comment on it but I have seen similar visual driven movies and TV shows, I think it's literally the same thing the Euphoria director has said... And honestly I think it's not enough. You can do both dialogue and visuals and get the best of both. There's no reason to limit art

I think the correct word was "plot" instead of "dialogue".

Dialogues are really important, especially in specific genres like comedies.

What great cinema really doesn't need is plots (while television Is the art of that). A great movie can have what you can call a thin plot but the Power of the images and sounds makes It an unforgettable experience.
