allforyou Posted February 22 Posted February 22 This is honestly so sad to see, she is such a lifeful and charismatic woman that has brought so much laughter into this world, she doesn't deserve any of this. 59 is a young age to have dementia, I wonder if her drug addiction could have been a factor? 6
SharGaga Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I wonder how much of this is because of alcohol and drug abuse and other unhealthy life choices even though she hasn't admitted to any drug use since getting sober. Or if she just has a predisposition for these type of illnesses. I miss eating my lunch and watching her show! I'm gonna tune into the LifeTime doc for sure. We love you Wendy!
Stepfon Posted February 22 Posted February 22 This makes me feel very sad for Wendy and I hate that people are being so nasty about her condition. 3
Vermillion Posted February 22 Posted February 22 @KFC if you have something to say to me please, by all means, as opposed to a drive-by down vote. I was a big Wendy fan when her show was around so none of this is hate, and her drug and alcohol addiction is well documented. i’m not making any karma argument - I wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy.
Gossip_Boy Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I know Wendy's been a controversial figure, but regardless, cognitive diseases are absolutely heartbreaking. Wishing her all the best.
imabadkid Posted February 22 Posted February 22 this is heartbreaking. I’m grateful for Wendy and everything she’s contributed to pop culture… I wish her well on her journey. I hope she’s surrounded by her family and love 1
Bewitched Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I’ll always love Wendy. She gave us so many. iconic pop culture moments.

I think it played a role but honestly from watching her show, I noticed she was just not the same after her divorce. It was hard to know what exactly was going on but smth definitely seemed off. 1

Mordecai Posted February 22 Posted February 22 This woman has brought me endless amounts of entertainment over the years - I was just watching a video of hers a few hours ago. I was hoping she'd have a redemption arc and make a successful comeback but unfortunately it's not meant to be. I wish nothing but the best for Wendy Juendie

Had a bad feeling since she fainted on her show, but they always downplayed her health issues. Yes she’s 59 now. The neurological and cognitive issues have been visible publicly (on camera) for at least 7 years, and likely started before then. Edited February 22 by PoisonPill
campelo Posted February 22 Posted February 22 A very sad diagnosis, aphasia leaves you mostly unable to communicate through words

Sugar-Rush Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Wasn't she also diagnosed with Graves' disease years ago? Yet some selfish folks still want her to return to daytime television even though it's blatantly clear that she's not in good health.

No one deserves this What does a person who spend their entire life hating on others, spread non stop rumours about them and destroyed many by it deserve? So what do you think she deserves after all she did? She was awful for years, her career built over hating on others. 2 1 2 1
mons†er Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I may be in the minority here but it’s exactly what she deserves. A lot of you aren’t old enough to remember Wendy Williams before her talk show but she was beyond awful. She told the world about Method Man’s wife having cancer and his and her’s family didn’t know, she attacked and disrespect Whitney making fun of her, Mariah and Destiny’s Child whenever she interviewed them. She built her career off of gossip, hate and being a messy journalist. It’s coming back to her tenfold and she has nobody to blame but herself in the end. 6 16
Dolce Vita Posted February 22 Posted February 22 everything that’s happened to her since leaving the show is so depressing to see. i can’t enjoy watching clips of the show anymore knowing what would eventually happen to her. wishing her + her family all the best
iiswhoiis_max Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I always thought it was Korsakoff syndrome. Wishing her all the best. This makes me feel sad :(
