It's giving James Gunn but it looks good.

I'll probably go see it in theaters. My boyfriend loves those kind of movies and he played those games alot

Yeah, I'm not expecting glowing reviews, and the problem with the humor is that... the games had some strong punches in that area, but I'm not sure how well it will translate to the screen. I just hope that Roth knew what he was doing.

She filmed this role before she filmed Tár :skull: That’s how long this mess has been sitting on the shelves

As someone who played Borderlands 1 and 2 I think this is such a weird cast. None of the actors are matching the characters.

The overall aesthetic looks good though.

i will never understand the casting or director choices in this movie but i'll def watch it for free online blands is one of my fav franchises

The casting, Tannis and Roland especially is awful. This looks like such a trainwreck, but also if Krieg is here I wonder if Maya will be shown too.

oof... I hope that paycheck was fat

Yeah, that final trailer erased any hopes I had for this.

The costume design is there but everything else feels off. It's like they read a wiki page of the game, looked at some pictures and decided it was enough knowledge about the game to make a movie. :rip:

Maybe if they'd kept to Mazin's script this would've been good.

I want yo be positive but being a Borderlands fan, this doesn't look great. Due to it being a movie, this film was destined to fail hard. Borderlands needs to be a series to be great because you can't condense that much material into one 3 hour movie. They should have gone the Twisted Metal route.

Actor wise, none of these actors are gonna do these characters jusfice, they should have gotten new, obscure or unknown actors to play them. so you see the character before the actor. All I see is Kevin Hart and Cate Blanched.

She literally had nothing to lose at this point.

I guess she has privilege of doing whatever sh*t she want for paycheck, cause in the end nobody is going to question her talent.

This has 0% on RT 10 reviews in my god :deadbanana4:

The unfortunate thing is there's been quite a few insiders who've reported the original Craig Mazin script was genuinely something quite special. Which is apparently why it caught Cate Blanchett's eye in the first place.
