In a new article KAN states that they're in talks with EBU regarding their submitted entry and they have no intention to change it in case it won't be approved

I guess the EBU won't disqualify them until the deadline to present the songs which is 11 March.

The article also states that KAN would withdraw from the 2025 contest if the current song doesn't get approved.

This is a Lie lol

Unless it’s religious and features no instruments, it is absolutely haram and that’s according to MANY hadith :rip:

You mean a song (supposedly) called October Rain features statements of a political nature? Colour me shocked.

They disqualified Belarus in 2021 and banned them for 3 years. The same should happen to Israel at the very least.

It’s sad that THIS is what they needed to ban them and not the thousands of slaughters including children but atleast they’ll be getting the boot.

Now replace them with Brazil for the kiis :clap3:

I guess the genocide part wasn't good enough of a reason for the EBU, but they draw the line at the lyrics

This X user is notorious for having a breakdown everytime Russia is mentioned and routinely harrasses Eurovision artists connected somehow with Russia. We don't know if she is pro-Russia and it is no okay to assume so. Still a Zionist though so disqualify her.

Eden Golan appears to have lived in Russia for most of her life.

Quote

Eden Golan (Hebrew: עדן גולן; Russian: Эден Голан;[1] born 5 October 2003) is a Russian-Israeli singer. She began her career by taking part in the Russian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, and afterwards in the Russian television competition The Voice Kids.

Quote

Golan was born in Kfar Sava in 2003. When she was six years old, she and her parents moved to Moscow for permanent residence due to her father's work, where she spent 13 years.

Disqualification on the grounds of the song being political, is going to much more straightforward than banning Israel for committing genocide, because Europeans would rather give Israel bombs to drop on children than be called antisemitic.

They know EBU fanbase would reject them and react poorly, so this is them saving face by not sending Israel to Eurovision where they would get massive boo's and protestors at the event that would be broadcasted for everyone to see. This is them saving face and faux image that Europe is supporting them.
