The fact that EBU has no issue at all with israhell participating says a lot about them.

This looks like a self-sabotage to me because they want to be the "victims" here and EBU will get to clear their name!

They are part of the European Broadcasting Union and therefore are eligible for participation. Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Algeria can participate too if they wish. The geography argument is weak.

I feel like caring about this kinda shows those who are just into virtue-signaling and fail to understand the big picture

The Eurovision bit relates to the satellite technology used by the show’s main sponsor.

Any country that uses Eurovision technology can enter.

Countries in the European Broadcasting Area are all eligible for participation - that would include all North African countries, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan

I feel like this was always going to end like this. The fact in a KAN report one of the judges even said that the song needed to tell Israel's side of the story :rip:

So they’re disqualifying them for the wrong reasons :toofunny2: They should be disqualified for the atrocities they have been committing

This X user is notorious for having a breakdown everytime Russia is mentioned and routinely harrasses Eurovision artists connected somehow with Russia. We don't know if she is pro-Russia and it is no okay to assume so. Still a Zionist though so disqualify her.

I was kinda expecting Israel would show up and they would get booed by the public while some of contestants could also make some type of a statement. I feel like that would bring more attention to the issue. If they are disqualified, they can get away with the victim narrative more easily.

This is smart because watching Israel get booed out of the building and having other people protest you would be embarrassing for them and their image they are trying to potray.
