I mean I don’t know too much about him. So I’ve done a google and… Yeah in black and white terms you could say so but the event in question was the result of a drug induced manic episode. He’s worked hard to turn his life round and seems to have been quite repentant. I’m not a personal fan but I’m amazed there’s this much conversation about  a cover. Also the subsequent mishaps in his personal life shouldn’t really detract from everything he and the rest of the blitz kids endured and withstood in the name of creative originality and freedom of expression. It’s sad to see a lot of them in a mess but they were a good foot in the door for gender ambiguity and blatant queerness in the media. Hence why I’m surprised he’s not more adored on here.
