Country radio doesn't play women as it is, a WOC has even slimmer margins.

Yup. There’s only 1 song on the top 20 of country radio with a female vocalist (Carly Pearce) and only because it’s a duet with Chris Stapleton.

Also - this is like country music at it's core. (The traditionalists in the industry love it).

 

Unfortunately because you have someone like Morgan Wallen running country music who is actually nothing more than a pop artist, 'Texas Hold Em' is completely out of place on modern radio.
