imabadkid Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I haven't finished it yet but this doc is AMAZING... I love how she's being 100% raw. Even with celeb docs v rarely do they give u full access. I like that JLo really went there... like even showing the celebs who turned down her offers, I respect that because a lot of celebs wouldn't show that. Once I finish the doc I'm gonna stream the album. You can tell she's genuinely put a lot into it 2

Trust me it's not fully loaded about their love. She talks about it being the inspiration of her being again committed to the creation of the album, but mostly it's about the process of creating this project. Spoiler She talked about how many artists rejected to be on the project (Taylor, Ariana, Adele, Lizzo, Bad Bunny etc.) and how she felt these people didn't want to be associate with her or the project but didn't want to tell her honestly. Also how big studios rejected her film and then she had to fund it herself and then go back and sell it. There's even a little part of how she feels age is catching up to her with her dancing.
Inverted Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I just finished watching it and I liked it a lot. She was very endearing. My favorite parts where: a) She's completely drained from all the work she put in and needs the weekend off, but it's the weekend of Ben's premiere of some movie and she feels guilty for not being there because she needs to rest from the rehearsals. She admits that part of her think she's a failure who can't do anything well and her biggest fear is being a bad mother and wife. b) Jane Fonda's bond with Jennifer. Also her friendships with the other two women. Don't remember their names. c) Her interacting with Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Lewis and the guru. 1
