Shakira - 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran'

She uses watered down girl power nonsense for the promotion of this mixtape and in the same breath she claims we need to adhere to gender roles  for a healthy balance :rip:

Then she goes on and makes a video about women rulers using men as literal **** toys and calls it female empowerment :priceless:

Rich celebrities only care about aspects of feminism they can actually capitalize on and use for cool points.

Shakira used Barbie as an opportunity to complain that men should feel powerful too. :deadbanana2: I guess she's trying to court her next Pique. :rip:

I just saw it.  :rip: She should know better

It was a dumb thing to say but the people saying "she's over" because of this are doing too much, especially because people in latinoamerica (her main audience) don't really care about these things

Because she said true tea how they made ken look stupid ….Now these kids  with no success in life think they know better than Shakira because she dare to call for respect for everyone's part in society.

All the pop artists seriously. They should have a social manager-content manager before they post things or give interviews :giraffe:
Someone with expertise in social issues and cancellations and stuff like that. Today is necessary :giraffe:

That's not what she said. There's no reason to downplay her trade wife take. Own it or educate your self and do better.

Lol conservatives would never stream her music no matter how pick me she tries to be. The gays are the ones giving her the few streams she has. But after this it's going to be a mess.

I am gay and conservative and adore her. So, there. Plus, Shakira has a huge fan base in Latam base extends waaaay beyond the gays.

Her main audience was never the gays. Maybe the most hardcore stans but most of her supporters are women

That would be great, but she would flop harder with a pop rock album, especially in the US. :skull:

And the same "fans" dragging her in this thread for Las Mujeres Ya no Lloran chart performance would drag her even more for being a bigger flop because this time she wouldn't even have the sucessful singles

The album debuted at #1 in Spain! :clap3:

'Cohete' debuts at #28. In Spain it could be very successful if they push it as a single.

'Puntería' debuts at #37.

'TQG' climbs 19 places to #49.

'La Fuerte' debuts at #67.

And 'Session Vol.53' returns to #90.

Overall these are good numbers.
