... she's not flopping though y'all are overreacting

I'd rather she just announce the damn tour and dates already like this is the **** that us fans talk about in regards to her messy ass management

Who is that and why is he important?

He's a long time member of her band and has co-written some of her songs.

If anything we should be sending our complaints to her manager Nadine Eliya… not that Jamie Levine was any better, but I feel Nadine is another Yes girl to Shakira.

Shakira been through so many managers. They only last like two eras each.

I doubt that they care tbh. The era has been a commercial success with all of the pre-released stuff, that's why Sony Latin does not invest more money. Maybe they'll push Puntería on Latin Radio like they did with Copa Vacía for a decent peak. That'll be it. She can release 1-2 more promo singles to see if anything sticks.

Yeah sadly I think that's all we're getting 1 more summer single la fuerte and cohete or entre paréntesis to promote the tour like clandestino.

LOL she needs to move onto the next album cause :gaycat6:... that Say So remix she just released with Cardi isn't doing anything .. maybe La Fuerte o Como Donde Y Cuando will work for her ..

I'm really trying but I just can't get into Cohete. :gaycat6:

The best part of it is when I press skip and start jamming to (Entre Paréntesis). :jamming:

Imma bump (Entre Paréntesis) real hard at the family carne asada today for sure!

Based on this entire post, the problem seems to be lack of taste luv

Cohete will save the era :sistrens:

My ideal tracklist. Remove TQG and have BZRP session as a bonus track.

Add 2 new songs to make it 10 new ones.

1. La Fuerte

2. Te Felicito

3. Punteria

4. NEW SONG (same electronic vibe as tracks 1-5)

5. Cohete

6. Nassau

7. NEW SONG (same classic Shakira sound like tracks 8-9)

8. Tiempo Sin Verte

9. Como Donde y Cuando

10. Monotonia

11. Acrostico

12. Ultima

13. Copa Vacia

14. (Entre Parentesis)

15. El Jefe

16. BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53 (BONUS TRACK)

She had an album ready to go around the suoerbowl aka the album that would've had Clandestino, Me Gusta and Don't Wait Up but then Covid happened, her dad got sick, Pique break up, moving, tax fraud so the album changed and was delayed overtime. Clearly she let the relationship consume her but to blame her motherhood is honestly quite the misogynistic take. Especially when it's her kids that have been part of her artistic motivation and support now.

Origami featuring Blackpink(?)  hopefully will be released at some point in the near future maybe on the second volume. The Ed Sheeran song is on his album featuring her and JBalvin so we should be fine. Tiesto and her missed an opportunity to serve her very own The Motto

I agree to an extent. I much prefer the vinyl version of Punteria because Cardi is way too prominent on the single version to the point where she dominates Shakira and makes her sound like a guest on her own song. Same thing with Cohete. She could've easily written a second verse instead of just repeating the chorus again. Entre Paréntesis, Nassau, Ultima and Acróstico suffer the same issues of not reaching higher highs because of the lack of a proper bridge and final chorus.

Yeah idk what beyhive is randomly coming for her. Why can't both woman experience success in their own ways without it being a competition 🤔

Weird dance moves? You mean choreography. Here we go again with you being disrespectful under the guise of criticism

ED wasn't dragged out that long though. We got the album by single three. The issue was her tacking on other songs, lack of promo and then the lack of newer material after such a long hiatus

If the tracklist was more proper I would be fine with the material. But she needs to drop the yes men and be more collaborative in other ways but she also seems in a place where she's distrusting of others. Poor Shak. At least she's inspired so let's see where that gets us. If she gives us artistic integrity but then underperforms that'll be your next argument

Youcant throw the word mysoginy at every opportunity lol saying motherhood consumed her its not misogynistic its just the truth for hwr, there are plenty women who kept their artistic integrity during motherhood i just dont its her, also cohete has to be a sigle, and also hope she released some of thoae tracks pre or during greak up sike

BassKira making her debut then! I didn't even notice. Lol

I think she's rehearsing for Fallon but also doing a whole concert in NYC. On insta she added more pics, some choreo and dancers so she's definitely doing a few songs.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too - it seems like she might do a small concert in NYC like the T-Mobile show she did where she did like 5 songs.

It's weird but that was the 1st thing I noticed in the pic lol but having been a fan of hers since 1995 (and having seen just about every live performance of hers) I thought it was weird that I've never once seen her playing/holding a bass guitar (not even for a photo shoot).

Guitar, piano, bass, drums, harmonica, synth (and I guess doumbek & cajon as well) - she just keeps adding more instruments to her list lol.

Now let's just cross our fingers that LIVE VocalKira shows up too!

i am new to shakira ( i know, i realized today how many albums she has, its insane)

to me album was amazing, i loved every track. it could be 10/10

only thing i didnt like is the cover, but tears sparkle is cute.

i gasped at 'my ex father in law isnt in grave' on el jefe

i cried on ultima and acrostico. omg shaki.

fave songs: nassau, cohete, entre parentesis

all songs are solid, no duds

she just dropped the album when so many good albums dropped and big names, but i think she won

I've been a shakira fan for ever, and it's always nice to have new music! i really like the album overall...to me Entre Parentesis could smash more than anything else left on the album.

Obviously this era is a huge success thanks to the pre-album singles...but it is a bit depressing that the album itself could have done so much better had it come out a while back...but obviously she has nothing left to prove at this point.

Puntería was a terrible choice. The latin audience clearly doesn't want electro pop from her. I hope she has a back up plan.

cohete > Putería  :coffee: (I love both though)

IMO Rauw is her best duet partner this era. Te Felicito alone  >>>>

she just finished the Jimmy Fallon performance. They recorded 3 takes (ala S53) and it seems like she did lipsync, most of it. Let just hope that is not that visible. :chick3:

the interview is about to be taped with a different audience.
