Anuel: Did you add Me Gusta to the album?

Shakira: What's that?

Is it weird that I'm actually enjoying el jefe and copa vacía now more than TQG?

Something many won't admit is that TQG was not that good to begin with. Sure it was a monstrous hit but I think it benefited more from the hype of two colombian super stars collaborating together (and Shakira's first female collab in Spanish) and Shakira coming off of the moment that was the Bizarrap session.

But the song in itself is nothing groundbreaking. Kind of generic trap/reggeaton production and it lacks a memorable hook. The video is amazing though. But hardly the best song in either album. I barely use it.

Copa Vacia is super generic but it's catchy and it does not take itself seriously.

I like the album. Has room to grow. Still have to sit with the new songs. Monotonía is still probably my favorite. Nassau is really good.

So... Puntería (Vinyl Version) and Bzrp Session 53 (Tiesto Remix) are gonna replace the original versions in my album :coffee: They are just better.

Not the album being certified 7xP Latin = 420k units the first day 💀💀💀 I hate it here.

Also since TQG is on Karol's album that means that the streams of the song didn't counted for this cert? Or it does now and it won't be counting anymore for Karol's album?

they will start counting from now until karol overtakes her on bb200 i think

TQG didn't count for Shakira's RIAA certification because it's already included on Karol's album which it was certified in May of 2023 (a song can only count for the certification of one album)

However it will count for the Billboard 200 for the weeks Shakira's album sells more than Karol's album

So the 420k units are based on Te Felicito, Monotonia, Session Vol. 53, Acrostico, Copa Vacia y El Jefe.

its kind of hard trying to rank some of these, but i know which one is best and which is worst.

como donde y cuando is the clear best, its everything i wanted, i repent for my complaining, please give us it as a single with a black hair promo tour :jonny4:

the worst is punteria vinyl version, reminds me of when she butchered commo moi to make what we said, it is disgusting and i hate it!

Well only like 2 songs from DELL were not singles at some point. :gaycat2: with as much money as she spent on studio time all over the world she better milk them songs! Haha

tiempo sin verte might be my new favorite (spanish) shakira song :jonny6:

all of the songs sound so undeveloped... like they have nice melodies, they're def catchy and I like the direction they're going in terms of sound (no reggaeton tracks thank god) but most of the lyrics are so basic, most of the songs are so short without a proper structure (no bridge in like half of them) and the production sounds so empty sometimes (como donde y cuando being the biggest miss for me). i also like the encariñada snippet a lot more than nassau but that's just me being picky. and the bizarrap session remix is so pointless :rip:

Yeah. Cohete being Playlisted isn't cute. I do  not want that as the next single. At all!
