trainsskyscrapers Posted March 22 Posted March 22 2 minutes ago, Julia Fox said: Cohete is like a Puntería little sister. I don't think it stands out that much since it sounds similar Both of them sound like cousins of Doja Cat's "Planet Her"... and i dig it. I'm looking at the success of the singles so far across the Latin diaspora (with placements on the Hot 100 too)... Will this be a Latin Teenage Dream? 1
Giancor Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I thought I was going to dislike La Fuerte but it's kinda cute 1
Giancor Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Como donde y cuando is kinda all over the place but I love it 2
Julia Fox Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Como Donde y Cuando is like a modern DELL song omg I'm crying like I thought we have lost this Shakira like I'm so happy to see her doing this again this is the Shakira I fell in love with this is so nostalgic and emotional 1 1
Johnny Cash Posted March 22 Posted March 22 COHETE WHEW the way it kinda ENDED Punteria this is the kind of Pop song that's meant for radio, I could see it having a ton of longevity 1
vuelve88 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Punteria Tiempo Sin Verte Entre Parentesis The album definitely has several more singles left.
Giancor Posted March 22 Posted March 22 NASSAU OMG I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS SLAYAGE I SWEAR TO GOD I THOUGHT INWAS GOING TO HATE IT 1
Julia Fox Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) Nassau it's good but I don't know if it's single material at all. It's a very good album track very mid tempo and summer-y. Like a Coconut Tree/Islands upbeat version Edited March 22 by Julia Fox
rta1913 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Cohete is cute, but as far as synth/disc/dance pop go Punteria and Te Felicito are better. Also too much Rauw so I assume it was intended to be his single for his album, I wanted more Shakira.
Giancor Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I love Como, Donde y Cuando but it's kinda all over the place
rta1913 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Entre Parentesis is a HYMN. This should blow up in Mexico. Honestly I don't hate El Jefe, but I think it was too ahead of its time. This more mainstream and straight forward and I love it. 2
Julia Fox Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Última is a very good ballad. But that's it. I don't see the hype of the people crying but I guess I can't relate lol but her voice so sad but beautiful song
Johnny Cash Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (ENTRE PARENTESIS) Disappointing tbh it was kinda boring COMO DONDE Y CUANDO OMG now this is old school Shakira it sounds straight out of Fijacion Oral her vocal delivery is as if she went back in time
rta1913 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Donde Como y Cuando another collapse Mother has her foot on my neck is not letting me breathe. That was so DELL 1
Matias182 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Come on sisters, it's time to re-arrange that messy tracklist! 1
unbridled Posted March 22 Posted March 22 This album is so good, SHAKIRA is back songwriter shakira is back, rockira, pokira, what an amazing album, the new songs are amazing punteria is a BOP!! 2
commander Posted March 22 Posted March 22 My initial thoughts: Puntería: that bridge left me gagging. It was a cute track. La Fuerte: cute track too, nothing out of the ordinary for a Bizzarap track. Tiempo Sin Verte is the living proof that OF Shakira is still here. Cohete: I liked it. Just that. (EP): Kinda meh. It reminded me that song she did with Maná. El Jefe is a much more interesting song. Cómo, Dónde y Cuando: a song straight out of Shakiradot. Very reminiscent of The One Thing/Spotlight. I enjoyed it. Nassau: It was ok. A little dated. It sounds more like Colombian tropipop than Afro beat imo. Ultima: Lo Que Mas little sister. Very emotional 😭. It was so short!!!! I don't know what to think of this album yet. I don't know if it's necessarily a better album than El Dorad9 but I liked it. I'm giving it a 6/10 for now.
