Ngl I thought Jafaar was that MJ impersonator and thought it was strange they casted him bc he might have zero acting talent. The actual Jafaar looks nothing like his uncle though, so props to the makeup team.

I am curious if they will highlight his drug abuse issues though. They say it started in the 80s. His drug abuse Im sure exacerbated whatever mental health issues he had already going on. Everyone says after the pepsi incident everything made a drastic change. 

 

Jafaar has a baby face I don’t see this movie extending much outside the 80s. Idk how he will play Mike during the age of all the scandals.

Fun fact. Michael was 5'9-5'10 and Jafar is not far off, being 5'8.5-5'9.5
