Stankonia Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Quote Usher’s first Super Bowl show drew 30.1 million households, according to TV intelligence company Samba TV, which released numbers from the big game Monday morning. Samba noted that was up 5% from the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, which featured Rihanna revealing her pregnancy. “Following Apple Music’s first successful halftime show last year, it found success with fans yet again with an impressive 30.1 million viewers, exceeding last year’s Rhianna-led show Overall, the halftime show drew in 5% more viewers than last year,” said Ashwin Navin, co-founder and CEO of Samba TV. Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show drew millions of people. Though it’s hard to say exactly how many individuals were represented by the 30.1 million households, it’s fair to guess at least three to four people per household—and probably more because the Super Bowl sparks high co-viewing because of parties. So probably upwards of 100 million people saw Usher and his Super Bowl halftime guests. The best comparison may be to Dr. Dre’s halftime show at Super Bowl 2022, certainly one of the most popular and most-talked-about halftime performances of the past decade with guests including 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige. That performance drew 29 million households.
Zefierce Posted February 13 Posted February 13 The ratings in general were increased significantly. Thank you Taylor 12 1 1 5 6
Relampago. Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) Not really, it basically increases every year His YT views are tragic. People were tuned in but clearly people didn’t really care that much. Rih’s halftime was an actual event as the views would indicate. Edited February 13 by Relampago. 8 4

Kodak Energy Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Usher killed it. An absolute legend. He got his first smash album 26 years ago and can still perform like this. Incredible.

Thank you! I'm tired of reading "thank you taylor taylor taylor" about this, as if all the hard work Usher put into this show meant nothing. He delivered a fantastic show and has still got IT as a performer. Let's give the man his flowers instead of trying to minimize his art. 6 4
shyboi Posted February 13 Posted February 13 the song yeah is **** EPIC, it reminds of BLACKOUT and the pussycatdolls, it hits hard been on replay since last night
byzantium Posted February 13 Posted February 13 So if Super Bowl ratings were up 10% overall but only up 5% for the HT show, this seems to suggest Rihanna is a bigger draw. 1 4

shimind Posted February 13 Posted February 13 He delivered a fantastic show. Well deserved. To the annoying swifties saying "its because of taylor", just sit this one out. Let black people shine for once and not make it about taylor. Its giving racism tbh 3
