celeb news Jennifer Lopez paid for her upcoming musical film out of own pocket

Lopez recorded the album in a converted home theater. At night, she’d play demo tracks for her husband.  

Soon she was talking about a “musical film” (Medina adamantly objects to anyone calling it a music video) and a documentary that would explore her lifelong journey toward love. Nobody quite got it.  
 

Lopez called her longtime producing partner, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, in the middle of the night, telling her that she was kicking in $20 million of her own money to the project. (After it was completed, Amazon bought it for an undisclosed amount.) A potential partner had pulled out, she’d said, because they didn’t understand the thing.

I wish she would rather invest into better songwriters and producers cause unfortunately what we heard so far (and sadly last 10 years) doesnt come close to quality of the music she did from 1999 to 2011

It's very uncool, Beyonce will have an ATRL banner when she will release act 2, so why put a banner for 2 singles ?
