campelo Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Will this have more bops in the vein of what do you do?
goldstargay Posted February 15 Posted February 15 It's crazy to me how she was THE UK pop girl and now her album announcement can't even muster 300 likes? like damn girl 1

I know she had a #1 single with her second album but the album and the follow up singles didn't match the success of the first album at all, right?
Cqmerqn Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) I’ll be extremely surprised if either of the below actually happens: 1. Actually gets released 2. Goes top 40 in the UK If the announcement only gets 561 likes, then I dread to think what the pre-orders are like. Surely she has the record for biggest collapse of a career? Going from being a record breaking multi-smash artist, bagging #1’s left, right and centre to just… missing the top 100 every time. I don’t even feel bad for her, she seems to be a nasty person. Am I right in thinking that she has been extremely transphobic? Edited February 17 by Cqmerqn
ThatGUY Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I think she could have done with a couple cute DJ collabs beforehand to build up some momentum
sam.teas Posted April 4 Posted April 4 next single is Easy 3:07 Jess Glynne, Steve Mac, Jack Patterson & Janee 'Jin Jin' Bennett
Better Mistakes Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I'll be honest: this started of pretty strong. Enough is an excellent pop by numbers song and then by whatever the last song was I was bored and looking how many songs were left.
Taste of Honey Posted April 26 Posted April 26 This is all pretty bland for me. Do You Know About Love is the standout in my opinion.
rockettoast Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I like the album, my faves are We Had Something, Love Me, Promise Me, Enough.
rockettoast Posted April 26 Posted April 26 This quote from her is really telling about the direction of the album Quote Before I wrote 'Enough', I was almost trying to regurgitate what l'd done before. I was making all these upbeat and dance records, but when I listened to them back, l'd think, 'This doesn't sound like me! Then I wrote 'Enough', and it felt right. I was like, 'You've just been really vulnerable and real in this song and that's what's working right now.' It set the tone for this whole process-don't try to be something you're not; just be you.
Better Mistakes Posted April 27 Posted April 27 idk if Spotify has updated by currently out of the non-singles, only Easy is showing its streams at... 2,517

Lady Claire Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I used to love her music and then pretty much like everyone else just lost interest and this album didn't please me at all
Heldenzeit Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Yeah, didn't feel it either. I don't see myself returning to this.
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted April 29 ATRL Moderator Posted April 29 I like it fine — there are some cute bops — but I'm gagged she split with her old label because of her wanting to pursue a new sound or whatever... and this album sounds exactly like all her older ones

Easy, We Had Something, and What Do You Do? are the only decent songs from this project. Everything else is just so... meh. Thoroughly disappointed.
Movimento Perpétuo Posted May 14 Posted May 14 It looks like "Easy" is low-key coming in the UK airplays
Gwendolyn Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I liked the album, it charted at 6 which is incredible considering how much hate she gets
