She is a hit maker. 7
Mr. Specialist Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Shouldn’t this be eligible for a Gold RIAA certification already?

hungrymuffin Posted February 23 Posted February 23 the success of this song is truly mind boggling i love country music and dont really resonate with this song i find it weird these days its hard to predict whether a song would be a hit or not (i listened to beautiful things, murder on the dance floor etc and couldnt really get them into my head) i think im just out of touch the fact a country song shaping to be a global smash is just insane, and her first smash hit in a few years
Gabriel Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Honestly, this is the first beyonce song in a long time I'm enjoying lol 1

The whistle and call outs, her harmonization, the flip into falsetto for "too" in the bridge all make the song an earworm. 1

It was actually the first time I heard a Beyonce lead single that I wasn't confused Seriously, me too! I literally could not believe she punched me like that on first listen with a COUNTRY song! I was like “Oh, hunny. This is the ONE!”
99sandthe2000s Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Idk if this is fact or fiction but I would love that for Mickey! Working with and amplifying other black women in country AND sampling Dolly Thee Parton this is the era that just keeps on giving! 1
Lovett Posted February 23 Posted February 23 "Crazy in Love" and "Beautiful Liar" are her longest-running #1s on the UK chart, both with 3 weeks. I'm hoping that "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" can beat that!
