satellites.™ Posted February 21 Posted February 21 5 hours ago, ToraeGilt said: No they did not. The hive just loves to run with that narrative to excuse BMS short lived time on radio. BMS had a radio deal/radio push, hence why it exploded initially. Once that was over, radio no longer had any incentive to play it especially on pop where the call outs were not good. And it was a TERRIBLE song if you're not listening to it live tbh. I'm sure they couldn't wait to stop playing it, repetitive and goes nowhere. 1 4

Blue Rose Posted February 21 Posted February 21 BMS radio collapse was brought to us by the chart experts. They all said they’ve never seen anything like that and some even compared it to Kesha’s Die Young controversy. It’s one of my favorites from Renaissance but the song wasn’t radio friendly. But even with low callout scores, songs don’t usually drop the way it did, especially a #1 song. 7
FSXP Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Break My Soul got its streams, it got the #1 and “you won’t break my soul” is a popular term now. Embrace the past, but live for now. Let’s focus on Texas Hold Em and the new era and album. 12 2
