It's losing spins on both KIIS FM and Z100

How is it with Pop radio if they expect a new single coming? Would that stagnation be a typical sign?

I don't think so necessarily. If you look at other artists, they play what they want.

The callouts have just been mediocre, honestly

I will say it could get a reignited push next week with album release on radio, so it may still be nowhere near its peak.

Biggest audience increase of the day of any song: 1.15m

See now that is a CONSISTENCY and a RADIO HIT.

Who is complaining?  We're posting factual information about the song.

Y'all are too sensitive around here.  If you can't handle the chart information, go to the base

Where are your facts? We're both giving our interpretations of the radio data. Except I'm not claiming each week that the stagnated numbers are the fault of other artists when this magical 'Ariana or Olivia impact' doesn't seem to be impacting anyone else. :skull:

The irony of you actually complaining that others are 'complaining' when in reality we're just discussing the radio stats and stations. :toofunny3:

A positive radio audience and spins is no where "peaking"

Who said peaking? We said it has stalled. We're currently seeing small daily increases in both spins and audience, with negative bullet on multiple days, after huge increases.

We aren't saying it has peaked, we aren't saying it has flopped, we aren't saying we won't suddenly see a strong improvement, we're saying that it has currently stalled on Pop radio. Acknowledging this isn't complaining ffs. :toofunny3:

When the numbers are negative then she hasn't stalled, she has peaked. The fact that you can't understand the difference... :biblio:

As of this moment, TH'E appears to have stalled on Pop radio. Your acceptance of that reality is your business.

Do you really believe that? I track the radio daily updates here and

Sorry but it hasn't

The semantics. The song has slowed down on Pop. Call it what you want. Let's see if it picks back up. It very well could with the album drop.

Spoiler

If you wan't a real negative take this is the sort of song that people either love or hate. It is somewhat gimmicky with the "woos and heys". Similar to how people feel about Single Ladies, Shake it Off, Run the World, All About that bass etc (I'm not suggesting it is as big as some of those songs). People will get sick of it quick, if they aren't already, especially with how prevalent it is on social media. Pop could very well drop it soon based on callouts.

Not the girlies in here fighting about Pop when THE is still the biggest gainer overall. A true Hive experience :suburban:

As I said, your acceptance of that reality is your own business. I'm glad that the other formats seem to now be doing the heavy lifting because Pop has stalled. I hope it'll pick back up again soon.

We need at least 7M!!

the Pop update is very good. Right now getting spins is still more important than audience (even though audience is what billboard counts for the Hot100)

once the song is put on power rotation, the audience will grow rapidly

"at least" should be a "could". 7M would happen if the Euro countries she's been smashing at get new streaming peaks or if she somehow reached 3M in the US. That's how Future and Metro were able to get 7M.

When she was at 6.6M;
US: #2  (2.1M)
UK: #1 (754k)
Ireland: #1 (122k)
Sweden: #1 (212k)
Netherlands: #1 (258k)
AUS: #2 (326k)
Switzerland: #2 (56k)
Belgium: #3 (62k)
Germany: #6 (446k)
France: #40 (168k)

Today:
US: #44 (871k)
UK: #7 (431k)
AUS: #7: (228k)
Ireland: #5 (63k)
Sweden: #10 (129K)
Netherlands: #4 (210k)
Belgium: #3 (69k)
Germany: #14 (312K)
France: #10 (280k)

This was BMS at its peak (release day):
US: #2 (1.9M)
UK: #3 (550k)
AUS: #7 (139k)
Ireland: #3 (52k)
Sweden: #18 (72k)
Netherlands: #11 (124k)
Belgium: #5 (36k)
Germany: #45 (132k)
France: #25 (135k)

BMS on Renaissance day:
US: #3 (1.4M)
UK: #1 (487k)
AUS: #4 (151k)
Ireland: #1 (55k)
Sweden: #32 (54k)
Netherlands: #11 (127k)
Belguim: #5 (47k)
Germany: #62 (130k)
France: #19 (164k)

Either way the song already smashed and is having longevity. She should drop

a new song one day before album release. Night before tbh

What purpose would that serve though? The best thing about the streaming era is the fans and GP can pick the follow up single, no need to hedge your bets anymore. It's just a matter of team Bey following their lead.

I shudder to think if she had done that with Ren, we would've landed with Church Girl. I'd be freaking out for a full 24 hours worrying about what the rest of the album would sound like. :fan:
