Lose My Breath Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Reasonably, do you guys think this single will show some return with the album sales?

If she wanted to focus on Chart Achievements she would be booked for every talk show, podcast, radio interview and performing Texas Hold'Em five times a day on any stage from here to South Korea. SHE HAS THE STAMINA, TALENT AND ABILITY to do all of these things and more. The fact that she would rather focus her energies elsewhere is a choice and the fans really just have to live with it. Sorry you won't have the stats to back you up in your arguments with Barbs and Swifties online but....... that's a personal issue unfortunately. 1

My two GP friends who love THE have no idea that a new album is coming out. To be honest there isn’t much information about it so can we blame them? The little news we got was also 3? weeks ago. Easy to forget with so much going on. 1

I'm predicting it will return to #1 when the album drops mostly because she hasn't peaked on radio yet. I'm predicting in 3 weeks it should be at around 50M-60M A.I. so the album release streams should give it a big lift back to the top.
Migs30283 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Beyoncé should start revealing the act 2 cover and Tracklist as soon as this week or next week

Hopefully they have something up their sleeves. The album cover and title will draw a lot of interest again. 1

She is gaining all types of audiences and exposure. Young Z, because of the pop radio appeal. As well as social media, And overall curiosity and all the media buzz of “Beyoncé has gon country”. This song also has WW appeal, something she has been missing consistently since Sasha fierce era, as far as singles performance. Edited March 5 by B3000
B3000 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 BMS and Cuff It was a great segway into this era, since her focus is clearly global this time. I would like to think so but she’s so unpredictable. Who knows
naval23 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 the way this is one of her most global hits since the 2000s is insane she really is MOTHER
makeme Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I need her to perform this at Country music award shows just to piss them off
Blue Rose Posted March 5 Posted March 5 This khia dominating iTunes and Amazon. The fraudulence is hilarious at this point maybe this will make Billboard change their rules about multiple versions 1
Blue Rose Posted March 5 Posted March 5 2 hours ago, Lose My Breath said: Reasonably, do you guys think this single will show some return with the album sales? It’s impossible to tell since she has already botched the album rollout. Even if she opens with 400K, it will always feel like she left sales on the floor. It’s the same for Renaissance since they didn’t stock up a lot of boxes and vinyls. I don’t want to see “sold out”, I want people to keep buying 1

LegaMyth Posted March 5 Posted March 5 It amazes me that she struggled to cracked the Hot100 Top 10 during her visual eras but is now have global hits without music videos. 1

Drunk peaked at #2. Formation at #10 two months after its release. The release strategies weren’t conductive to high charts but she did okay. 2

She only had 2 singles as a lead artist to cracking the top 10. She's had more hits in the 2020s than the 2010s. 2
Space&Time Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I haven’t really been chart hive, but watching all the activity this last week to now really opened my eyes to chart manipulation. Between Kanye’s fishy streams, to these nobodies having 10 versions that dominate the top 10 out of obscurity. Wild. 3

To be fair, she hindered herself a little back then (no streaming platforms, privated music videos, very little pop music, slowing down with promo etc) and also had some things working against her (pop radio ignoring her since 4 era, middle america mad at her political stance etc). She did the best with what she got. RTW may have peaked at #29 but if you look at the views, streams and certifications, it ended up bigger than a lot of "top 10" songs from that time. 4 as a whole did. That's why I try not to get caught up in peaks as amazing as this has all been. 3 2

Had her songs from ST and Lem been released normally, she would have had two of her biggest BB hits in Formation and Hold Up. Hold Up would have also been her biggest international single since IASF. 1
benyonce Posted March 5 Posted March 5 How nice that TH'E lasted almost the full tracking week on TikTok. Based on the drops in artist positions today, it is looking like the effects are starting to show. Regardless, I'm sure Bey is overwhelmed by the response so far. That sort of genre pivot would surely be anxiety inducing, even for our beloved self sabotaging fave. 1
