#4 (+8) in Germany this week, her first solo Top 10 since Sweet Dreams :jonny5: so happy for the Queen

Does it have a chance for #1 next week?

It could be her second after Beautiful Liar

#1 is out of the question atm, but she could tie her best peaking solo song in Germany (IIWAB at #3)

Unfortunately Apache 207 released a single today and he will definitely hit #1 next week. Local releases that instantly shoot up the charts are always unpredictable.

Benson is also above her on Spotify & AM, he went #1 on the official charts this week.

Who would’ve thought beyonce’s solo country single would be one of her most global singles? :jonnycat:

She truly smashed it.

And still no signs to slow down…

This song is smashing. If you think Bey or her team expected the song to be performing this well globally, you are mistaken. I’m sure Bey fully considered that act II might be a significant commercial underperformance outside the US, so the fact that this song is smashing globally is I’m sure astounding to them as well as us.

The US numbers are of the least concern. She doesn’t need to get another week at #1. People are going to listen to the album regardless. On the other hand, the global success and outreach of her country album entirely depends on the commercial performance of its lead single, and so far it’s doing amazing.

I agree however my thing is why can’t they ever pivot?  So they didn’t expect this success then why not capitalize off it? Build on it and make sure the album isn’t a commercial underperformance (ex flowers).

Ding ding ding! Adapt to the market, don’t stick to a plan that was established w/ Yvette in some meeting you had 2 years ago if things have changed

The biggest and best brands do it.

This is my concern. The fact we don’t have a pre-order suggests she’s still working on the album, which means there might not be any physicals :dancehall:

These songs are already at least 2 years old.

now let's keep it at number #1 for a third week

Exactly!  Especially when this is the best case scenario to be in as a company to maximize success.
