Blue Rose Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I wonder why Instagram reels don’t translate to streams. Would’ve been smart if she had album preorders on her IG SHOP. Unfortunately everyone in her team is on vacation *viola gif*

I love to hate on Parkwood, but Bey wouldnt have the success shes having now with a bad team. Sure, things could be optimized, but the rollout for THE was pretty damn flawless 7
Draper. Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Tina’s brother died the same day THE went #1. I think it’s a pretty good reason to not celebrate the success of the song right away. 13
Rafael Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I still can't get over this remix yet... just perfect: 1

Aethereal Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I would bet $200 that this song wont outperform Cuff It, how wrong I turned to be. 1

Aethereal Posted February 28 Posted February 28 It's crazy how things turned out to be. Beyonce used to be the queen of promo, you'd see her perform everywhere before the Lemonade album. Now she barely cares. The same with Rihanna she used to drop a new album every year and now she has not released an album since 2016.
swissman Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) So I'm the only one who doesn't care that a pre-order link isn't out yet and thinks that waiting a bit will create a bigger reaction once the song is even more firmly a hit and the GP are tuned in and ready pre-order? I mean, realistically, it's only fans who would have pre-ordered already had it been available, none of which I think will not pre-order just because they had to wait. If it had been out already, once more GP got with her era, she'd realistically need to send out a reminder like "PRE-ORDER IN BIO" in order to get these people aware and that is not something she'd likely do. Waiting until the the song is a certified hit and the cover or tracklist is released seems wiser imo. It'll be linked to actual information about the album, not just "oh by the way I have an album coming out", at which point TEXAS HOLD 'EM will be even more known by the GP and everyone waiting for a pre-order link (fans) plus all the new fans she's accumulated will be ready who surely weren't thinking "I love this song let me go back on her social media to see if I can pre-order the album". Just as a correction, it was before the ST era that you saw her perform everywhere (4 and prior). And actually Lemonade had more performances than ST did if we aren't including the HBO X10 concert series. But her promo era was under her father's management, and then with 4, managing herself for the first time she was very clearly still following his handbook. With ST she threw it out the window.

Yes for ST she performed at the Grammys (Drunk in Love), the Brits (XO), and the VMAS (Medley where she sang all the album's songs except the one that was a single at the time). She also "performed" at the BET Awards as well, but that was pre-recorded from her tour. For Lemonade she performed at the Super Bowl (Formation), at the BET Awards (Freedom), at the VMAs (Album medley, though not all songs) at the CMAs (Daddy Lessons) and then at the live streamed Tidal X: 1015 concert (6 inch and then later All Night) and lastly at the Grammys (Love Drought, Sandcastles). Draper. Posted February 28 Posted February 28 She received 41 new adds on Country radio yesterday, so maybe we'll start seeing some better updates in the format this week. 4

benyonce Posted February 28 Posted February 28 A lot of unexpected things have come from this era so far. firstly, the once radio darling was all but abandoned by Pop for a while there, only supported by Urban and a couple of other formats. Now we are seeing the opposite take place. She had great catalog streams for a while there back in the late 2010’s, but very few new songs smashing due to her sabotage. Now we are seeing her new songs do well, and actually increase naturally from the initial drop. The US normally propped up her numbers, now we are seeing new peaks in global markets. Renaissance was truly a Renaissance for her. Her best album did that. 4

No, I'm with you. Not sure why they're all melting down when we already have a concrete date set and it'll inevitably be up for pre-order in a matter of days. You would think they would get tired of trying to micromanage every aspect of her rollouts when they could just sit back and let it happen Mind you, these are the same people who swore up and down last year that nobody wanted country from Bey and that a country era would underperform compared to RENAISSANCE. 4 2
Negiiiii Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Another question from the dumb guy I’m sorry but what are the “unfiltered streams” compared to one we always get in the morning? Thank you very much
