There’s basically nothing stans can do to influence the long term success of a song. This is probably her most successful song since Single Ladies. Let’s just enjoy shall we? Lets decide after todays update

Cbreezy Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I'm confused, is the "Kanye threat" related to 2nd week at #1 or the 3rd week? Because this is what I'm seeing:

Because this is what I'm seeing: He has increased massively in this updated prediction. The concern is TH'E dropping further in streams and him remaining stable/increasing in the final tracking days. He has also sent the song to radio so it is gaining modestly, which wasn't a factor with the first prediction plus the song going somewhat viral. For now a second week at number 1 seems safe but we shall wait and see what the Spotify update brings.

Best Case Scenario = Bey stays #1 more comfortably than the panicking calls for. Middle Scenario = It's tight but Bey comes out on top. Worst Case Scenario = Kanye gets it, Bey drops to #2, but still got the #1 in general and definitely has future chances to snatch it again. Make no mistake, I definitely want a multi-week #1, but it's all really not a big deal nor worth the meltdowns. This doesn't present like a "yes, and?" which dropped like a rock. This clearly has legs and is #1 in so many markets. Girlies, we literally won. Plus Jack Harlow's song notched 6 nonconsecutive weeks, so Bey staying in the top 3 mix bodes well to jump back up when Kanye slides. The only thing I'd say is that Bey NEEDS to drop that album pre-order link asap, that's a form of promo in and of itself. Edited February 28 by Cbreezy

Pretty much, though I wouldn't be looking to me as a voice of reason, considering you're a member I normally look to for insight. If the song increases today, compared to the same day last week then we take it as a win. Radio will hold this song steady, whether it is number 1 or top 5 it doesn't really matter. With TikTok potentially removing the song we need Radio to pull its weight. I see no reason to think it wont. I totally agree, drop the pre-orders now. I don't like not knowing what is happening. The most exciting thing about the lead up to Ren was slowly getting drip fed information, even if this era so far has been more exciting at least as far as the initial drop goes.
BnPac Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Charts watching should be fun, no need for drama and pressure, if someone else gets it is OK. She's doing fantastic anyway. 7 2
Negiiiii Posted February 28 Posted February 28 They still building today’s Spotify update or what hahaha?
Green Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Based on the last prediction the second week at #1 seems to be locked No need to panic, it's already a #1 hit 1

Shes slaying, she made herstory, what else can we possible ask for (chart-wise, cause we damn sure still wait for album covers reveals, etc)? 2
Starshine Posted February 28 Posted February 28 It’ll linger in the top 5 until the album release and it may hit #1 again that week. A top 5 peak was all I ever hoped for act ii’s lead. This is whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, a BIG banana, and Oreos on top chii. 2
ToraeGilt Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I want atleast 5 weeks at no.1. 3 pre album and 2 weeks post album drop. I’m greedy 1
