Spain, Italy and France (we can check off Germany) are notoriously difficult to break into so I'll be floored if it becomes a hit in any of these countries. It's off to a promising start in France.

I cant wait to see the updates on the Global artist charts today.. that will give us a good idea of what to expect

How many weeks will Texas Hold Em be number one in Hot 100?

For me, it would be around 3-6 weeks.

I’d say until Taylor drops her new single, but maybe Bey can snatch it back the following week if she smashes on radio.

Hmmm. Not what I was expecting! I'm assuming it's going to be stable around the 6M mark that we saw yesterday, as opposed to the big jump we were hoping for.

I think so too. Definitely in the 6M but it’s gonna be a new peak

But watch her have another big jump in the middle of the week :dies:

The song has saturated its growth rate in the markets it’s currently performing well. For example 650k in the UK is already incredible, the same with Germany, US etc.
It needs to catch on to the crowds in South America and Asia to go over 7M. It’s slowly getting there. Btw I still can’t believe we get to write such sales analysis about a Beyoncé song in 2024.

that's because of lot of people (hive) think because she's no 1 on. TTH, her streams will jump. That position really doesn't mean anything esp when someone like sza can drop a song and still push her down a bit

Agreed. TTH helps more so with longevity and exposure than anything else. Texas is already exposed quite tremendously, so the effect wont be as big

Everytime I lower my expectations, and then Texas just completely obliterates it all :jonny5:

The increase in the UK is insane, 640k was already a huge number for the market:deadbanana2:

It has now hit #1 on the US, UK, and Global Spotify charts. #1 on the UK official chart, locked for #1 on the Hot 100, just a complete smash

Does this count for next week's chart or the following?

This counts for this week. So it looks like it will challenge for a second week at number one.
