After a lot of thought, I think my top five is probably made up of Alliigator Tears, the three song run from Riiverdance through Tyrant (which is literally just three 100% perfect songs), and Bodyguard - with an honorable mention to Daughter.

 

For a while I thought Alliigator Tears would take my top spot. It's just so good, every second. It's magic. It's not hard to get me into something that sounds like Fleetwood Mac, but she made something above and beyond.

 

But Tyrant is just so undeniable that I think it won for me, every layer and every section is flawless - I can NOT get over the harmonies in that opening verse, it's the kind of music that just inspires so many ideas, so much imagery. 
 

And the "honey, honey" on Bodyguard, too, like so many little parts of this album just live in my head permanently now I guess?

 That the peace has returned to this thread and we can finally enjoy CC's greatness without the ridiculous and unwarranted comparison to Act 1 

 

also extra  at the Alligator Tears praise I've been seeing. Its def the love drought of this album.

I'm not into country so I had no interest in this but I had to play the iconic Jolene on my car ride home. Then I just let the album play and...I don't know a better album

although i kinda ignored it at first alliigator tears is kinda the best song... i didn't see much love on it also when the album dropped but the fact that it's in everyone's top 5 now... we love an unexpected grower

I have just realized the guy that says « you know my name no need to know yours » is NOT the guy featured on JUST FOR FUN what the hell !? Lmfao I have always thought it was like Dolly P - Jolene and because they both have the same first name I did not even bother to look further. He also has that kind of accent in JUST FOR FUN so I was sure it's the same guy I kept thinking « damn this old guy can truly SING »

Does the incomplete tracklist mess concern only Beyonce's store or the general distribution of physicals will also lack some of the songs?

 

I LOVE this album but I don't want a physical without all of the songs
