Negiiiii Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Finally having fun later tonight to BUCKIN aka the S.E.X. song 1
Bends Posted April 1 Posted April 1 It's a very good album. I understand that this will sound like a dubious compliment, but it is very motivating, I have done so much housework for his songs (which I have been putting off for several months). 1
Popular Post Beyoncei Posted April 1 Popular Post Posted April 1 I don't care Texas Hold 'Em is still that b*tch! There's no doubt that Renaissance and the tour helped increase the GP interest in Beyoncé again but I think it was Texas Hold 'Em that solidified it! 19
Kristie Kuwa Posted April 1 Posted April 1 2 Most Wanted clicked today. U better perform tonight and give me viral performance @Beyonce, or else imma Solange u 5
LVP Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Usually has a different favourite song each day during the release week but II HANDS II HEAVEN has been my favourite for 3 days already 2
Uncatena Posted April 1 Posted April 1 can we talk about the vocal performances and production on this. probably the best of her career. 3

I noticed that no one has mentioned the lyric "Ever since I went to Marfa, ain't no trouble in mind" and realized she might be talking about her girls trip there in 2012. She post a lot of photos of the trip and seemed to have an amazing time. http://www.thegreatgodpanisdead.com/2012/08/beyonce-in-marfa.html
Great Username Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Riiverdance gives me Damita Jo energy. I feel some All For You/Damita Jo DNA throughout the ablum actually, the highest compliment.

Popular Post smallreminders Posted April 1 Popular Post Posted April 1 AMERIICAN REQUIEM is, without a doubt, her best opening track ever but the way it builds up, the way it encapsulates the entire concept of journey this album contains, and finally - the way her vocals do things I thought I would never hear from her... all this talk about pushing boundaries feels not enough. Boundaries feel non-existent when you hear an anthem like this one 17
simon Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Y'all "Flamenco" has been on REPEAT for me all day!! Top 5 Vocal performance on the album for me. The last verse just does something to my soul! When she performs that live, I know I am going to cry on sight. 4
IMadeYouReadThis Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Everyone is paying BODYGUARD dust, it's sonically so interesting and fun and amazing and ahhhhh a HIT 1

Uncatena Posted April 1 Posted April 1 as someone who usually has a problem with a big number of ballads on an album, the ballads on here are some of the best songs of her career. Protector, Daughter and Just for Fun are just... wow. I can't believe humans made this. THIS is art and music. It's so encouraging to have one of the biggest artist of our times be someone this creatively charged. 10
shark_heather Posted April 1 Posted April 1 What is the possibility she is announcing the tour on Friday doing Europe in June - July , US August - September , Asia October & Oceania November ?

I have like no doubt in my mind LJ is going to take off on its own eventually anyway(giving song of the summer) Yep it's giving Alien Superstar and Cuff it. All though I'd love Body guard and Yaya to have a moment too but asking for that many singles is being greedy lol

I was about to say the same... loving this song an unhealthy amount, especially because of the theme of feeling overwhelmed and the: "Time heals everything, I don't need anything" section. For some reason it always makes me think time will heal every single scar that this reality has except her as a person... like 3
