Gladiator Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 (edited) Of course there was a drop on Sunday. It was Easter. A huge percentage of black folk are with their families on Easter, who make up the largest portion of her listening demographic. It will pick back up dramatically today for sure!! J-esper Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 I'm pickin' up good vibrations He's givin' me sweet sensations This SMASH
Fleahive Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 (edited) I already told y'all this would happen on Easter and yall laughed at me. And no, the streams will not pick up on Monday because like I said the heathens went back to church for the first time in a year. They are on a new journey to change their ways and the first step is to cut out Beyoncé music because their pastor said she is demonic. Edited April 1, 2024 by Fleahive 1 5
Jude Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 That's because a lot of Beyhives are religious and they are busy at their churches.
Fleahive Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 (edited) And fortunately/unfortunately we had so many first time listeners because this is arguably Beyoncés most promoted project due to all the drama about her singing country and wanted to see what it sounds like especially the ones that liked Texas Hold Em. They heard about Renaissance but didn't care just like I heard about tortured poets department and don't care lol. So day 1 streams would naturally be inflated. And 80% of new listeners likely won't tune in again since none of the songs sounded like Texas Hold Em Edited April 1, 2024 by Fleahive

People probably just want light acoustic music in the background then, but I have absolutely no overview of who does best on Sundays Bey's discography is most popular for fun songs most suitable for bopping and parties. On Sundays ballads and less dancy songs seem to do best. Halo actually rose today and did 1.387m streams for example. 1
Kristie Kuwa Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 When u stop tracking ur fav songs off CC and randomly check ur listening behavior through Last.Fm, and suddenly Alligator Tears appears as ur most listened song. Like what? What in the sneak just happened? 1

lilrobomonster Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 what reviews are we waiting for on Metacritic? Rolling Stone and Pitchfork look like they're missing, anything else?

Flanders Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 I mean yeah there's obviously a novelty about Beyonce going country that will attract a lot of extra listeners in the beginning, and many of them will only be checking it out and not replay again and again like the fans
