Marla Singer Posted March 30 Posted March 30 YA YA is insanely brilliant, and Beyoncé knows it. The Linda Martell Show tells you to brace for impact and then Oh Louisiana gives you a breather before the rest of the album. 2

That's what I said, it's so fitting that it's introduced by Linda Martell and that way too.
Mire Posted March 30 Posted March 30 This album is a masterpiece and I even dare to say it's better than Renaissance. The way the interludes plays like a radio station sets an amazing mood and the songs that accompanies never disappoints. It's in fact a Beyoncé album. 10/10 3
Truth Teller Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Riiverdance is my early standout. Hope it's a fan favorite Flamenco and Bodyguard right behind it. Vocals on Ya Ya are INSANE. Azealia and I rallying for another Suga Mama kind of won with that one, but it will have to grow on me. Loved Dolly's interlude so much. She's such a bright, eternal star. The Jolene cover is also a standout, for both good and bad reasons. The overall album isn't really my type of thing but that's ok. 2

Do you know what I am ok with having Levi Jeans go under the radar to let most wanted smash. Then it can start picking up and become the song of the summer 3
Daft Dweeb Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I still can't get over the fact that this was supposed to be released before Renaissance but it makes so much sense especially when you listen to the second half of the album as it gradually adds more electronic elements to it. And then it transitions smoothly into I'm That Girl. ARTIST OF OUR GENERATION 2

Gam Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I kinda floored at how good this album is, I need BODYGUARD to SMASH
jane Posted March 30 Posted March 30 First day numbers are insane. So well deserved. I love that it's only growing for each act. I'm scared of what she will do for act 3 now.
Kh-Loud Posted March 30 Posted March 30 so far my top 5 most played as of right now 1. American Requiem (I can't get over the immaculate production) 2. Bodyguard 3. Sweet Honey Bucks 4. Spagetti 5. Levi Jeans
OnMyCoolJ Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I like 2 most wanted, but Id rather they push Jolene. also send ya ya to urban immediately. 1
roso Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Even though I keep playing it, I still haven't processed the fact that I have a new Bey album if that makes any sense 1
Saint luv Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I would be in complete shock if she does more than 400k first week. I expected a little over 200k tbh.
OnMyCoolJ Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Even without the opera part Daughter is one of her greatest vocal moments. Aretha would've lived for this vocal. 1 1
Crayzik Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Driving in GTA 6 while listening to KNTRY Radio Texas will be a true experience 4 2
CroNich Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Ummm this is a masterpiece Ngl I was eye rolling everything about this era from the announcement but she proved me so wrong in the first listen. Truly a masterful body of work.
OnikaSlays Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) Bodyguard and Alliigator Tears are my definite top two, but then you have Levii's Jeans, Ya Ya, Flamenco, Desert Eagle, II Hands II Heaven and Riiverdance fighting for to be #3 every time I try to do a ranking I'm also really glad I didn't overplay the singles, because they're HITTING in the context of this album Edited March 30 by OnikaSlays
