The way she ends every line in her Levi's Jeans verse with a moan :WAP: she's a master in recording vocals

Time will tell.

For some reason, I got downvoted suggesting that it would be the breakout hit yesterday.

But it has all the traits needed.

It's already known and loved, has a ton of press around it before we even knew it was happening, and Bey flipped it amazingly into her own thing.

It totally figures why Columbia is pushing the Miley track, as they are both on the label and a win for that track is a big-time win for everyone, but I could see either Jolene or Bodyguard being the Cuff It (in terms of viral-carried post-release success).

And Tyrant has the potential to be the America Has a Problem of CC - it has the best chances of being a Crossover Pop-Urban-Radio moment and if remixes by a rapper, the sky is the limit

She tried to serve this excellence on Riverdance but couldn't quite get there

The attempt was flattering though :sistrens:

Bottoms everytime you try to stick it in.

She did a few yodel-ish notes in Jolene and a few other songs.

True!

Now, I wanna (and am gonna) keep it light and positive, but I really need Columbia to work this right. Push the song/s that are performing best. No repeat of the Church Girl (over Cuff, Alien) fiasco.

Similarly, work different songs at different formats. Jolene, Bodyguard or II Most Wanted at Pop, while Tyrant should be a shoo-in for Urban radio play NOW.  Especially as there's not much else that fits that format apart from maybe Ya Ya or Riiverdance. I don't see it for Spaghetti on anyone's radio or playlist.

One Pop pick, one Urban, worked simultaneously.

Bey promoting or not promoting is one thing, but I've always believed there's a lot that can be done with savvy strategy without her.
