B-Luke Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Daughter is absolutely incredible, both lyrically and melodically. That pen game, my god. 4

selena_lavigne Posted March 29 Posted March 29 LevII's Jeans is the obvious next single choice, but it's not my album so 1
Lose My Breath Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Crazy that Texas is being knocked down AM by the album tracks lol
queenoftheclouds Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Amazon Germany says the CD comes out on April 12th Amazon.de:Cowboy Carter
selena_lavigne Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Track 17 is on repeat. I'm sorry to the rest of the album. You were fun. 1
Post Malone Posted March 29 Posted March 29 The songs towards the end of the album are slowly getting closer to Rennie's sound I'm realizing, like Riverdance has some house influences & Tyrant is just a huge sex bop that could land on Rennie's back half unchanged

LevII's Jeans is my favorite. Bodyguard and Riverdance complete my trinity. Not all this stannage in the span of 7 minutes
ham Posted March 29 Posted March 29 14 minutes ago, Rotunda said: When you say experimentation, do you mean the latter half has Bey drifting less out of her wheelhouse, or that those songs themselves are less experimental in nature? I don't listen to enough Bey to say if it's less out of her wheelhouse (I know, shame on me), but yeah, I think I mean the songs get less experimental in nature. I came to the album relatively blind, but I was anticipating that I would feel like "wow, is this really Beyonce?" And initially I got some of that, but by the time I was in the middle of the second half, I was like "oh yeah, this is definitely some Beyonce right here." I don't mean that in a negative way. I was still loving the tracks.
WildAmerican Posted March 29 Posted March 29 ouuuu Bodyguard is the first song that really popped for me I'm moving a bit

Burn Posted March 29 Posted March 29 D.A. Got That Dope is happy that Bey kept his producer tag all throughout the song I'm glad she did too. It goes off!

scottstreet Posted March 29 Posted March 29 From the info and stats I'm seeing right now, comparing with her own and other artists releases, Cowboy Carter may not outdebut Renaissance on Spotify. ;(
