Daughter is absolutely incredible, both lyrically and melodically. That pen game, my god.

I'm surprised it seems to be the least streamed so far (not counting interludes)

I think it's cause the title is a little boring lol

Ditto. 50-60M, which is objectively :biblio:, but it is what it is.

Track 17 is on repeat. I'm sorry to the rest of the album. You were fun.

The songs towards the end of the album are slowly getting closer to Rennie's sound I'm realizing, like Riverdance has some house influences & Tyrant is just a huge sex bop that could land on Rennie's back half unchanged :WAP:

Yeah. LevII's Jeans is my favorite.

Bodyguard and Riverdance complete my trinity.

Not all this stannage in the span of 7 minutes

When you say experimentation, do you mean the latter half has Bey drifting less out of her wheelhouse, or that those songs themselves are less experimental in nature?

I don't listen to enough Bey to say if it's less out of her wheelhouse (I know, shame on me), but yeah, I think I mean the songs get less experimental in nature. I came to the album relatively blind, but I was anticipating that I would feel like "wow, is this really Beyonce?" And initially I got some of that, but by the time I was in the middle of the second half, I was like "oh yeah, this is definitely some Beyonce right here." I don't mean that in a negative way. I was still loving the tracks.

D.A. Got That Dope is happy that Bey kept his producer tag all throughout the song

From the info and stats I'm seeing right now, comparing with her own and other artists releases, Cowboy Carter may not outdebut Renaissance on Spotify. ;(

"YA YA" is the best song on the album. It's not debatable.
