There's country but it's also influenced by a bunch of other genres, I've noticed a lot of gospel and R&B for instance. ooo that actually sounds good .. I may actually give it a spin after genre:sadboy like I remember loving a couple of country pop songs in the past like why should I be sad and nothing breaks like a heart .. so I can feel bey making it boppy.

Levii's Jeans is an INSTANT classic. I can already envision the couple TikToks. I feel like Beyonce x Miley collab would generate the most initial hype due to a lot of similarities in their story, Dolly reference, breakup reference, fuel duet following "Flowers," etc. You can already tell from it smashing on iTunes immediately. It was the best initial choice. If Levii's raises its hand - then they can decide next steps. 4
ALA Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Think she's finally gonna win AOTY almost done with the first listen and it's a pretty audacious album, I'm surprised.
Sadie Saxton Posted March 29 Posted March 29 1 minute ago, Alldeezy said: for a person who hates country? is it a good album? like I love bey but idk I'm still hesitated to listen to it I'm not a country girl either but I am pretty die hard beyhive- so take this as you will. I absolutely loved it. it's very high concept - the beginning maybe 3/4 sounds like you're at a rodeo but it's a radio broadcast - and idk how else to describe it. The last bit sounds like a country crossover with Renaissance in the most connected way. If you listened to 16 Carriages and Texas Hold Em and liked them I think you would like it.
qurl Posted March 29 Posted March 29 DID SHE F*CKING SAMPLE GOOD PUSS BY COBRAH ON SWEET HONEY BUCKIN ?!?!?!?!??!???
Johnny Jacobs Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Im four tracks in and im scared. Is there any tracks where she goes off? I need a carrie underwood rock country angry ballad those chill ballads ain't for me so far
MariahC Posted March 29 Posted March 29 II MOST WANTED is definitely the BEST song on the album! Omg yaaasss! It deserves single treatment! 2
QueenBLadyG Posted March 29 Posted March 29 FLAMENCO Way too short. Again, it feels cinematic and like it's supposed to used to push a narrative forward. I think the visual film is really going to be happening ala Black Is King. I do like the melancholic feeling it evokes and love the style. 1
Easymoney Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Was anybody else's Apple Music crashing some odd minutes ago while trying to stream the album?

QueenBLadyG Posted March 29 Posted March 29 YAYA WOW! Holy ****! Album highlight for sure! Funky and full of energy! This is hot! The Beach Boys sample is used so creatively. This might be my favorite song so far! Would fit perfectly on an Outkast album. Deserves a visual and live performance. I felt a bit of Tina and Elvis in her vocal delivery at a few points. 2 1
