Dante Silva Posted February 13 Posted February 13 As a girl who grew up in Texas, this is the stuff she was influenced by for years through her local radio station. She’s just revisiting and picking up where she left off here and here. Some people may struggle to get their heads around certain influences they would prefer her not to have but to others she’s just being honest and more relatable. 3

I keep hearing the “inauthentic” drags but the girls here have no idea that cowboy discos are from Dallas, Texas. I’m hoping her country accent from the late 90s comes back for the album. 1

skwonderfactory Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Both “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” and “16 CARRIAGES” are phenomenal and honestly in my top 20 songs by her!! I have a feeling I will like act ii a lot more than RENAISSANCE. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy RENAISSANCE but it’s not my thing as much as it is for some others.

enchanted0 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Didn’t that journalist who leaked the info (the 2nd will be the acoustic album or something) say the 3rd one is a Jay-Z collab album?

sweetblindness Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I'm holding out hope the album isn't called Rodeo. That feels so on the nose.

It has a bigger potential outside US. It reminds me of 7 years by Lukas Graham. It wasn’t even visible yesterday on spotify on her profile, had to specifically look it up. 1
