nobody is saying that, it's still a certified success but definitely not as big as "Self-titled" and "Lemonade". and I explained why above.

Renaissance is definitely bigger than Lem, especially worldwide

As a girl who grew up in Texas, this is the stuff she was influenced by for years through her local radio station. She’s just revisiting and picking up where she left off here and here.

Some people may struggle to get their heads around certain influences they would prefer her not to have but to others she’s just being honest and more relatable.

I keep hearing the “inauthentic” drags but the girls here have no idea that cowboy discos are from Dallas, Texas.

I’m hoping her country accent from the late 90s comes back for the album.

40 million views on the IG announcement and the songs at the top of AM and iTunes worldwide is a non event?

Both “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” and “16 CARRIAGES” are phenomenal and honestly in my top 20 songs by her!! I have a feeling I will like act ii a lot more than RENAISSANCE. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy RENAISSANCE but it’s not my thing as much as it is for some others.

I love 16 CARRIAGES but I need a mega power country ballad with super melodic, catchy and irresistibly sing along hook…..she would devour something like this; honestly I just want to hear her cover of this song

So they’re not releasing 16C to radio?

Didn’t that journalist who leaked the info (the 2nd will be the acoustic album or something) say the 3rd one is a Jay-Z collab album?

Don't kill this optimism. Only good vibes, let's not revisit this.

16C has no potential as a single, she probably released it to use it on the Cécred commercial or something. :michael:

I'm holding out hope the album isn't called Rodeo. That feels so on the nose.

What does a Rodeo have to do with the Renaissance period? :doc: ReFormation is what came after …

It has a bigger potential outside US. It reminds me of 7 years by Lukas Graham. It wasn’t even visible yesterday on spotify on her profile, had to specifically look it up.
