GraceRandolph Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I wish our pop girlies and alt girlies would MOVE ON from country and Americana/folksy adjacent music atp. It just has a smaller audience than pop, who are not really open to genre switches from pop artists to begin with.
Mornings Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) I hope act iii is an MTV unplugged type album. im getting tired of perfect hyper-produced full production Beyonce. and THAT would get her the grammy. Edited February 12 by Mornings 1
PartyFavor Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I could see her dropping act III later this year and touring both next year. The country/rock sounds would complement each other.
Airhead Posted February 12 Posted February 12 There’s so many different veins to country music, im really excited for this. 1
State of Grace. Posted February 12 Posted February 12 This pic would have made a really gorgeous album cover tbh Right now I'm imagining REODEO's cover as a recreation of RENAISSANCE with a real/rodeo horse instead 1 1
BGKC Posted February 12 Posted February 12 14 minutes ago, Gold said: not really...not always lead singles are reflecting the entire album I think it’s safe to assume it will be a country fusion album with some hip hop, jazz and rock influences. She’s never really had an album that was anchored in one genre, Act 1 included.
Eóghan Posted February 12 Posted February 12 act 3 ain't coming until 2026 lol especially if this album is a smash in the US. I mean I can understand "act 1" doing just decent numbers in the US because House/disco music isn't really a popular genre in the US, on top of having the history of being a genre that doesn't sell albums but "country" on the other hand is huge, just look at the numbers on streaming. y'all are underestimating how much it covers a large demographic from young to very old people. she's lost a bit of her middle age and old black demo with "act 1", which is a demo that loves Bey for her Soul and R&B sound. she can definitely gain that demographic back with "act 2", this album will be filled with Soul music through country/americana sound. she might lose some steam worldwide but her reach will expand immensely in the US. 1
brenda-walsh Posted February 12 Posted February 12 why people acting like Renaissance was anything but a success? a huge mainstream hit and 2x album that's still getting cute numbers along w a sold-out stadium tour and successful movie 3

I really doubt that Middle White America is gonna be gagging over a Beyoncé country album tbfh. I mean it's possible that Rodeo ends up being more successful in the US, but I believe its more about her reclaiming the genre. Both tracks released are "commercial" but the album will certainly have other influences and won't be easily digestible for the Morgan Wallen & Co. consumers imo 1
Kh-Loud Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) I love 16 CARRIAGES but I need a mega power country ballad with super melodic, catchy and irresistibly sing along hook…..she would devour something like this; honestly I just want to hear her cover of this song Edited February 12 by Kh-Loud 2

Act 1 had Cuff it which was her biggest hit since the IASF The tour was also 3x bigger than Mrs Carter and FWT The era was basically on par with the last few The album sales were lower but that’s just the result of a decade of self-sabotage and not doing anything to promote Edited February 12 by Trent W 1

SimpleKindofLife Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I’m still in disbelief that we’re getting a new Beyoncé album in such a short time span
