Mellark Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I prefer an arena residency in major cities, but the Sphere

This is gonna be amazing. 3
Jay07 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Not people crying that Vegas is for retirement. Get with the times girls, it's not 2003 or even 2013 anymore, literally everyone has done Vegas bar Madonna (she hates Vegas) and Taylor (her teen fans can't travel because of school). It will be prestigious and high tech, get over it. U2 are an amazing act to follow. 2

That's obviously not the case for Beyoncé. This also wouldn't be the first residency she's done in her career. She's had a few brief residencies in the past in NYC, Jersey and Vegas. This would be the first long one and it wouldn't be a bad idea at this juncture, especially if she's playing this Sphere venue, which is quite a marvel of architecture. She would be the first woman to play it, adding another groundbreaking feat to her long list of achievements. exactly. people are acting like Beyoncé is supposed to be above residencies she does not care what YOU (joe shone) perceive she should do with her career. she cares about DOLLARS, and trust and believe she is getting a fat check for anything she agrees to do and endorse and put her name on. im thinking she won’t do more than like two months worth of shows and even then prolly only on weekends , MAAAAAYBE a third day occasionally but she’s not doing some 4-5 day meager star retirement era residency like some of yall are trying to make it out as 1

She prolly gon' be like, "alright, that was fun but I got **** to do" lol.
Misguided Ghost Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I can see her doing that. Hopefully, if the rumours are true, the show will be accompanied by act II
Starshine Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I think this will be a kind of show where I’m okay with the nosebleeds since the spectacle will be the screens and her vocals. I don’t think I need to see her in a GA pit this time.
Crayzik Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) deuxmoi... Although it would have been cool if she premiered the visuals there Edited February 11 by Crayzik

I don’t believe that this residency will happen but I guess we’ll find out soon then

campelo Posted February 11 Posted February 11 this would be terrible, sphere the main act is the big screen, she would be swallowed up

Im sure shed raise the bar of what performances in the venue could look like. She always has that effect. See Beychella, see her televised performances in recent years. She usually becomes the blueprint, so this chance is actually very Beyonce tbh Edited February 11 by Kristie Kuwa 2 1

TMRA Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Actually this is exciting. The Sphere looks so cool from the inside and I am curious to see what she does with those screens. And for people saying Vegas is for retirerment. Not in 2020s guys. We had Gaga and Adele in Vegas and both of them are more than capable of selling Stadium World Tours and albums. Same as Bey. I hope its accompanied by Act II

An immersive, 360* visual tour experience in a place like the Sphere which could totally relate to the way in which she always try to give fans EXPERIENCES mora than a regular concert stop with some props here and there.
