Trent W Posted February 10 Posted February 10 (edited) Crazy and will probably see her but I prefer acts2/3 and another world tour Her demand WW is still absolutely insane for her to go and chain herself to Vegas even tho the sphere is absolutely insane Let’s not forget that after Taylor she is basically the biggest female touring act and basically in her prime in that regard. Also, I wonder who, in 20 years, will be the Madonna/Kylie/Janet of our generation. No shade, I love Janet dearly but she needs to secure her legacy. Gen z is canceling every celebrity so we won’t have one. Gaga tends to avoid backlash for being rich for some reason so she’s my best guess if she still makes music every once n a while.
Fleahive Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Beyoncé always proves me wrong when I go into overthink stan mode but I really think she’s going to be embarrassed when these tickets come out. She’s starting to surround herself with yes people that or her team is just as out of touch. The rumor I’m hearing is that the starting ticket prices are $730. Meaning the very back top of the theater. As a former Vegas native that city is mostly old retired white people who would spend their coins to see Adele and Celine but not her. She needs to rely mostly on fans flying out to see her. But with tickets that high only the rich desperate hive can afford that nonsense. Good luck. And Gen Z tok will definitely make this news. I get she plans a big production but at some point you’ve gotta come back down to earth and realize people can’t keep paying these high prices to see you for a couple hours especially from a distance.
shyboi Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 babes, I can't see the two pics I posted on the OP but i don't see y'all complaining can you still see them? 2

And I’d still need to bring binoculars so I can see her facial expressions without having to watch the screen the whole time.

I doubt it'll be anything more than a limited run tbh. I don't see her doing it more than a few months. 1
chaklux Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Vegas residency just have a legacy act vibe to it . It feels beneath her honestly but I wish her best of luck . I’m sure the demand will still be insane and she will be successful Edited February 11 by chaklux 1 1

PartyFavor Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Why do people still think vegas residencies are for retirement? Britney changed that long ago and rappers and DJs have been doing it even longer. So many artists followed after that still tour and make music. beyonce also just came off a huge stadium tour. Y’all need to accept vegas is not for retirement anymore, and artists seems to prefer it to being in the road. Its stability in both their personal life and income. 1
swissman Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I don't know why this is such an issue for people, not when two of her past residencies have been some of her best concerts ever (I Am...Yours, and Revel). And clearly Beyoncé doing a Vegas residency in one of the coolest venues in pop history is not going to be serving retired legacy act who can't get work otherwise. Performing is something she loves and is good at, why not do it in a more controlled way for some time? Launching another world tour with a young family like 6 months after her last one ended would be weird for her to do. 1 1
Rotunda Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Not sure how much I believe this, but saying that residencies are where legacy acts go to die is basically just showing your own age at this point. 2
