You cling to this and ignore every point I made that disproved you?

You have made no points at all and you just keep lying, first you claim "every pop star" is flying in private jets, then you claim a list of people "used nothing but private jets since their careers took off", also not true.

Imagine saying that to someone as a way to defend a billionaire that doesn’t even know you, I- 😭

Let's do a math lesson.
If the global aviation industry accounts for 2% of global CO2 emissions, 12% of all transports sources then how many trees would it have to plant to make up for it?

I doubt Taylor's jet usage is even 2% of that 2%, but sure, let's blame Taylor Swift for it because it's easy and ultimately doesn't result in anything productive.

math lesson:

taylor swift = 1 person

houseplants needed = 30,000,000,000

And how many houseplants would it take to combat the 2% of global emissions for a whole industry? :coffee2:

They live vicariously through Taylor. I doubt a lot even like her music. They just want to “own” lessors by stanning a powerful billionaire. They are like Elon simps.

probably a lot as well! I wonder how much of it would be compared to the actual polluters of the world? You know the one's who are responsible for the majority of it. :kitty:

Standard Republican/climate change denier talking points.

“There is nothing Taylor can do”
“Too difficult/too inconvenient for Taylor to do anything, so the rest of us can’t make changes either”

“There is nothing anyone can do”
“But what about other pop stars, what about China?”
“It’s someone else’s problem, but anyway climate change is inevitable now”

Taylor is already in her 2nd backlash era :skull:

The way people are coming for her is insane.

She does need to address this tho, because the bullying is only going to get worse

Good thing is this time around she knows not to care about few sad people who post online. Backlash on atrl and few tweets with 154 likes are not real world. Real world streams midnights in millions, has tickets for eras tour this summer in europe, is giving her grammy after grammy.... so no, she'll be fine

And I say that as a non swiftie

You need to actual stay in touch with reality, dear. Laserfocusing on Taylor Swift's usage is just stan wars on a pop forum.

Climate change deniers change tactics all the time, but the common thread is that they tell people they are i) focusing on the wrong things, and/or ii) we can't do anything anyway. Quite similar to what you're posting.

It's in fact focusing on the wrong things, since a. the OP even stated that they are just using this to destroy people's goodwill about Taylor. So clearly it's not even about the environment sake in the 1st place.
And b. so let's say that Taylor would stop using her jet after this. And then what? You are not actually solving climate change here and the real contributors for climate change is still out there not getting a fraction of all these Taylor jet noises. This is ultimately a distraction.

Classic climate change denial, there is nothing we can do, it's all the fault of the "real contributors"

The "real contributors" are all of us, but don't you see it as a problem when one of the most admired woman in America, has one of the highest individual carbons emissions and her public response has been been either silence, or to take legal action against the person that tracks her carbon emissions?

I’ll take back the “nothing but”. Doesn’t mean they both haven’t contributed 10000x the amount of a regular person.
