Y’all all big artists (who are quite literally walking corporate entities) function with big PR teams making calculations like this ALL the time. To the folks who want to fault Taylor swift for this (call her selfish or whatever) or suck her dick for actually caring about Celine are BOTH delusional and talking out of your asses. You don’t know this woman personally to gauge her feelings towards celine but you can damn bet that pic was in fact posted as a PR move.

Maybe tay was starstruck or something because she had 2 chances on stage to at least say hi or thank you. It was pretty obvious her peers were put off by her album announcement given the audience shots, but those are also the same peers that just gave her a 4th historic AOTY win  So it really remains to be seen.
