dawnettakins Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I mean you could kinda tell them were scrambling. Not to mention the Swifties spamming everyone and their probably-dead grandmama's with that photo op. 1
The Music Industry Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Would Mercury News lie The girlies running in here fff Y'all are extremely desperate to take Taylor down and nothing is sticking. Sad

choerry Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Celine has endured enough and gone through way bigger things for us to pretend she’s somehow angry at Taylor over this. This shouldn’t be a thing. Taylor was obviously flustered in the moment.
Shimenawa Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Interacting with a Legend like Céline is more important than holding a meaningless object. Also considering Céline's illness, she could have aknowledged her and have a word for her. She treated her as if she was a random woman holding the award 5

So, what's the truth, a new outlet is saying something, whilst an unknown individual who provided no evidence of said tiktok, is telling me otherwise. Where's the tiktok, sweets? Here you go sweets, https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGekGQyHJ/
Park Jinyoung Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) I said this elsewhere but both things are probably true... Taylor didn’t intentionally SNUB Celine. Let’s get this out of the way. But it came across as rude to many people watching. And Taylor’s publicist got feedback about it in real time and immediately cleaned it up by asking for the picture. That’s literally why she goes to shows with her client, to be able to anticipate things and get ahead of them. People denying this are concerning. Edited February 6 by Park Jinyoung 9

JC. Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Quote Swift is a “master manipulator and guider of her own image,” Belloni said. “This was a rare misstep, announcing the album during her speech. You could feel it in the room. No one was really clapping, except that section of Swifties who were going nuts.” “(The camera) panned to the stars, and nobody was really into it,” Belloni continued. “It just felt like, this is the last person who needs that stage for promotion — at least in the room. She’s the biggest music star on the planet right now. Like, give it a rest.” Interesting bit from the article as well 3 2
OrgVisual Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Celine is truly an angel. One of the sweetest person on Earth 1

All popstars are calculated, they are after all just a few for a reason. The issue is when people try to present it in a bad way just for her succeeding at it. Swifties know this and acknowledges it correctly, by calling her a business monster, just like Billboard did by putting her at #1 on their Power 100 list btw In an industry filled with sexism seeing a woman capable of triumphing by knowing the business more than anyone else seems to get some people angry but well some randoms’ anger doesn’t prevent her from keep on smashing 3

How do you win an AOTY and still end up being an ecology-destroying insecure LOSER Bet she's crying to her pillow and recording TS12 about the perks of being a hated woman in the man-filled music industry Whose dupe is this dumbass? 1

family.guy123 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Y’all will believe anything about anybody if Taylor writes about it in a song, but you draw the line at this very realistic scenario? Please 2

JoJo Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) I find it odd that people are acting like Taylor intentionally ignored Celine. She probably apologized for the faux pas afterward. People make mistakes. But Taylor’s biggest mistake of the night was announcing her new album. That was disrespectful to the other artists in the room, and you can tell that they weren’t really happy about it. The Grammys aren’t the VMAs. Edited February 6 by JoJo 5 1
BellKat Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Ngl, I was not paying much attention to this topic but its crazy that her PR team noticed immediately what she didn't It must have been a very bad look if they acted this quickly
Chris Posted February 6 Posted February 6 The amount of pressed people over this whole nonsense. Since when did ATRL and Twitter care about Celine? They are just using her to throw a dig at Taylor. Btw, this will NOT affect Taylor at all. Her new album will open with over one million in the first week, produce a #1 single, and be commercially successful.
Triton Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Even the photographer mentioned he had to run backstage from the main event to take the photo.
